4 Sicherheit Die Sicherheit unserer Kältegeräte entspricht den anerkannten Regeln der Technik und dem Gerätesicherheitsgesetz. Dennoch sehen wir uns ver anlas- st, Sie mit folgenden Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut zu machen: Bestimmungsgemäße V erwendung • Das Kältegerät ist für die Verwendung im Haushalt bestimmt.
5 Im Alltags betrieb • Behälter mit brennbar en Gasen oder Flüssigkeiten können dur ch Kälte- einwirkung undicht werden. Explosionsgefahr! Lagern Sie keine Behälter mit brennbar en Stoffen, wie z.B . Spraydosen, Feuerzeug-Nachfüllkartu- schen etc.

7 Aufstellen Aufstellort Das Gerät soll in einem gut belüfteten und trockenen Raum stehen. Die Umgebungstemperatur wirkt sich auf den Str omverbr auch aus.
8 NP00 100 mm 10 mm 10 mm Ihr Gerät br aucht Luft Aus Gründen der Sicherheit muss eine Mindestbelüftung gewährleistet sein, wie aus der Abb . hervor geht: Achtung: die Lüftungs-Öffnungen müssen immer saubergehalten wer- den. Die Lüftungsöffnungen niemals abdecken oder verstellen.
9 Abstandsstücke Das Gerät ist mit 2 Abstandsstücken ausgestattet, die wie in der Abbildung gezeigt montiert werden müssen. Die Schrauben etwas lösen. Das Abstandsstück unter den Schrau- benkopf schieben und die Schraube wieder festziehen. Tür anschlag wechseln Achtung! Es ist nicht möglich den Türanschlag zu wechseln.

12 Kühlraumtemper atur-V orgabe 2 °C für 6 Stunden. – HOLIDA Y : Kühlr aumtemper atur höher den Regelungsbereich . – : Normalbetrieb entsprechend eingestellter SOLL-T emper aturen. 1. MODE-Taste 1x drücken. Im Display wir d die Betriebsart SHOPPING blinkend angezeigt.

Insbesondere ist darauf zu achten, dass die vorhandene Netzspannung und Netzfrequenz mit den Daten des Gerätes über einstimmen.

15 SHOPPING Die Funktion SHOPPING eignet sich zum schnellen Abkühlen größerer Kühl- gutmengen im Kühlraum, sowie kleiner er Mengen Gefrier gut im Gefrier- raum, z. B . nach einem größer en Einkauf. Dabei wird für den Kühlr aum für 6 Stunden automatisch eine SOLL-T empe- ratur von +2 °C vor gegeben.
16 FROSTMA TIC und COOLMATIC Bei der Kombination der Funktionen FROSTMA TIC und COOLMA TIC wird für den Kühlraum für 6 Stunden automatisch eine SOLL-T emper atur von +2 °C vorgegeben. Die Kühlung im Gefrierr aum läuft für 52 Stunden im Dauerbe- trieb .
17 Gerät abschalten Kühlraum und Gefrierr aum können unabhängig voneinander abgeschaltet werden. 1. Zum Abschalten des kompletten Gerätes die Taste EIN/AUS gedrückt hal- ten. In beiden Temper atur anzeigen erfolgt ein sogenannter "Count down", dabei wird rückwärts von "3" nach "1" gezählt.
18 K ontroll- und Informationssystem Das Kontr oll- und Informationssystem besteht aus T emperatur anzeigen, optischer Warnanzeige und akustischer W arneinrichtung. Das System warnt: – bei Netzausfall; – bei offenen Gerätetüren; – wenn die Temper atur im Kühl- oder Gefrierr aum zu warm wird; –bei Funktionsstörungen am Gerät.
19 Funktionsstörungen Hat die Elektronik des Geräts einen technischen Defekt erkannt, der vom Kundendienst behoben werden muß, ertönt ein W arnton und die Anzeige SERVICE erscheint mit einer blinkenden r oten Hinterleuchtung.
20 Feuchter egulierung Vor der Abstellfläche über den Obst- und Gemüseschalen befindet sich bei einigen Modellen ein verstellbar es Lüftungsgitter . Die Öffnung der Lüf- tungsschlitze kann mit einem Schieber stufenlos reguliert wer den. Schieber rechts: Lüftungsschlitze geöffnet.
21 Richtig lagern Um den Kühlschrank richtig zu nutzen, beachten Sie bitte folgendes: • Keine warmen Speisen oder Flüssigkeiten in den Kühlschr ank einstellen. • Alle Lebensmittel sollten abgedeckt oder gut verpackt werden. • Die Lebensmittel müssen so eingelagert werden, dass die Luft im Kühlr aum frei zirkulier en kann.
22 Einfrier en und Tiefkühllagern Im Gefrierraum können Sie Tiefkühlkost lagern und frische Lebensmittel einfrieren. Achtung! • Vor dem Einfrier en von Lebensmitteln muss die T emperatur im Gefrier- raum -18 °C oder kälter sein. • Bitte das auf dem Typschild angegebene Gefriervermögen beachten.
23 Gefrierkalender • Die Symbole zeigen unterschiedliche Arten von Tiefkühlgut. • Die Zahlen geben für die jeweilige Art von Tiefkühlgut die Lagerzeit in Monaten an. Ob der obere oder der unter e W ert der angegebenen Lager- zeiten gültig ist, hängt von der Qualität der Lebensmittel und deren V or- behandlung vor dem Einfrieren ab .
24 Abtauen Kühlraum Die Rückwand des Kühlraums ber eift, währ end der Kompr essor läuft, und taut vollautomatisch ab , wär end der Kompr essor stillsteht. Das Tauwasser wir d in der Ablaufrinne an der Rückwand des Kühlr aumes aufgefangen, durch das Ablaufloch in die Auffangschale am K ompr essor geleitet und dort verdunstet.
25 Reinigung und Pflege Gerät von außen Achtung: Verwenden Sie kein Edelstahl-Reinigungsmittel und auch kein anderes aggr essives oder scheuerndes Reinigungsmittel. Die schützende Lackschicht der Edelstahl-Oberfläche kann davon angegriffen werden.
26 Tipps zur Ener gie-Einsparung • Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Herden, Heizkörpern oder ander en Wär- mequellen aufstellen. Bei hoher Umgebungstemperatur läuft der K om- pressor häufiger und länger . • Ausreichende Be- und Entlüftung des Gerätes gewährleisten.

41 Prior to Initial Start-Up Before connecting the appliance to the mains and putting it into ope-r ation for the first time, leave the appliance to stand for 30 minutes if was tr an- sported upright. After transport on its side, the appliance must be left to stand for 2 hours befor e putting it into oper ation.
42 5. Set the freezer temper atur e to -18 °C or colder (see section: "Temper a- ture Adjustment"). Do not load freezer with goods until a temper atur e of -18 °C has been rea- ched, or until the red warning indicator light has gone out.
43 Oper ating modes Using the MODE button different oper ating modes can be selected. The operating modes ar e automatically switched off after a corr esponding period, but can also be manualled ended each time. To do this, pr ess the MODE button repeatedly until ther e ar e no longer any words appearing in the display .
44 The operating mode FROSTMA TIC is automatically switched off depending on how the appliance is filled at the latest after approx. 52 hour s. The FRO- STMATIC indicator will go out. COOLMA TIC The COOLMATIC oper ating mode is suitable for quickly cooling lar ger quan- tities of refriger ated foods in the fridge section, e.
45 After emptying and cleaning the appliance, proceed as follows: 1. To switch on the holiday setting, pr ess the MODE button r epeatedly until HOLIDA Y is flashing in the display . After approx. 4 seconds the oper ating mode HOLIDA Y is activated, HOLIDA Y lights up.
46 Switching off freezer section when fridge switched on: 1. Press and hold down the “+“ and the “-“ buttons for the freezer section at the same time. In the temperatur e display for the fr eezer section there is a countdown from “3“ to “1“ .
47 T emper atur e warning For the fridge section: An alarm sounds and the TEMPERATURE indicator and a r ed back light fla- sh, as soon as the temperatur e in the fridge section rises above 12 °C. In addition the temperatur e display for the fridge section flashes.
48 Interior Accessories Stor age shelves • Y ou should always slide one of the full size glass stor age shelf into the lowest set of guides, above the fruit and the vegetable containers, and keep it in this position.
49 Dr awer The drawer is suitable for storing fruit and vegetables. There is a separator inside the dr awer that can be placed in different posi- tions to allow for the subdivision best suited to personal needs. There is a grille on the bottom of the drawer to separ ate the fruit and vegetables from any humidity that may form on the bottom surface.
50 Fr esh food r efriger ation To obtain the best performance: • do not store warm food or evapor ating liquide in the r efrigeator • do cover or wrap the food, particularly if it has a str ong flavour . • P osition food so that air can cir cuiate freely r ound it.
51 Fr eezing and storing fr ozen food Y ou can use your fr eezer for freezing fr esh food your self. Important! • The temperatur e in the fr eezer compartment must be –18 °C or colder before fr eezing food. • Please observe the freezing capacity given on the r ating plate.
52 Fr eezing Calendar • The symbols on the drawer s show differ ent types of frozen goods. • The numbers indicate stor age times in months for the appr opriate types of frozen goods. Whether the upper or lower value of the indicated sto- rage time is valid depends on the quality of the foods and pr e-tr eating before fr eezing.
53 Defr osting Refrigerator Frost is automatically eliminated fr om the evapor ator of the refriger ator compartment every time the motor compressor stops, during normal use. The defrost water dr ains out thr ough a trough into a special container at the back of the appliance, over the motor compressor , where it evapor ates.
54 Cleaning and Car e For hygienic reasons the appliance interior , including interior accessories, should be cleaned regularly . Warning! • The appliance may not be connected to the mains during cleaning.
55 4. Clean the appliance and the interior accessories with a cloth and lukewarm water . Commercially available dish washing detergents may also be used. 5. After cleaning wipe with fresh water and rub dry . Accumulation of dust at the condenser increases ener gy consumption.
