The riser board p lugs into th e RISER connector on the system b oard (see Figure 6-1) and is considered an extension of the system boar d.

Y our drive’ s power input connecto r (to which you conn ect the DC power cable) resemb les the connect or shown in Figure 7-4.

Unpack the drive and prepar e it for installation. Check the document ation that accompanied the drive to verify that the drive is configured for your com- puter system.
