6 Slide upper handle into turbo tool caddy. HOW TO ASSEMBLE TOOL REQUIRED: PHILLIPS OR FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER 1. Insert handle fastener into the back of the turbo tool caddy. 2. Wrap hose around back of hose caddy (Diagram 1). Push hose wand down into the right side of cleaner (Diagram 1a).
7 7 HOW TO OPERA TE CONTINUED HANDLE RELEASE PEDAL FLOOR/CARPET CLEANING 1. a b c Move the handle and adjust it to the desired position for (a) storing the upright, (b) oper- ating the cleaner, and (c) de- press the handle release pedal again to clean under furniture.
8 8 Depress latch to remove dirt container from cleaner. Hold the dirt container and grasp the top of filter. Twist and pull the filter up and out. 1. 3. 2. EMPTY AND CLEAN DIRT CONT AINER WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY FROM MOVING PARTS - UNPLUG BEFORE SERVICING.
9 9 Lay cleaner flat and flip cleaner to expose nozzle base. Base should lay flat and face up. To remove nozzle guard, use Phillips screwdriver to remove the five (5) screws. Arrows show location of screws. Lift and remove brushroll. Dispose of old belt.
10 10 LIGHTBULB REMOV AL AND REPLACEMENT Lean cleaner handle back. Remove the two (2) screws located on either side of the headlight lens. 1. Pull bulb out of socket to remove. Do NOT twist. Gently push bulb into sock- et to replace. 2. Secure the headlight lens by replacing the two (2) screws.
11 11 To reassemble, be sure tabs are engaged and pivot the lower housing closed. 6.
