18 Installing the Motherboard Installing a Hard Disk Drive/CD-ROM/SA T A Hard Drive This section describes how to install IDE devices such as a hard disk drive and a CD- ROM drive. About IDE Devices Y our motherboard has one IDE interface . An IDE ribbon cable supporting two IDE devices is bundled with the motherboard.
