NL 4 Inleiding U heeft gekozen voor een vaatwasser van Etna. Optimaal gebruiks- comfort en een eenvoudige bediening stonden voorop bij de ontwikkeling van dit product. In deze handleiding staat beschreven op welke manier u de vaatwasser zo optimaal mogelijk kunt benutten.

NL 8 Waar u op moet letten • De handleiding is gebaseerd op de normen en regels van de Europese Unie. • Het apparaat voldoet op het moment van levering aan de huidige Europese normen en richtlijnen: ▷ LVD 2006/95/EC ▷ EMC 204/108/EC ▷ EUP 2009/125/EC Laat het toestel aansluiten door een erkend installateur (zie ‘Installatie’).
NL 9 Voer geen veranderingen door aan de stekker. Laat de stekker, wanneer deze niet in het stopcontact past, aanpassen door een gekwalificeerde elektriciën. • Gebruik de deur en de korf van de vaatwasser niet oneigenlijk. Ga er niet op zitten of staan.
NL 10 • Verwijder de deur van de vaatwasser of maak het slot onklaar wanneer u het toestel afdankt. • Laat kinderen niet met het toestel spelen. • Controleer of het wasmiddelreservoir leeg is na afloop van het vaatwasprogramma. • Vul het zout- en spoelglansreservoir vóór het eerste gebruik en als de indicatielampjes branden.
NL 11 BEDIENING Ingebruikname Let op: • Vul altijd eerst het zoutreservoir en stel de waterhardheid in voordat u de vaatwasser in gebruik neemt (zie pagina 15). • Vul tevens het glansspoelmiddelreservoir en het afwasmiddelbakje (zie pagina 16, 17 en 18).
NL 12 ‘3-in-1’ programma selecteren (voor EVW8162) De vaatwasser beschikt over een 3-in-1 programma. Indien u kiest voor dit programma, hoeft u de vaatwasser niet te vullen met zout en glansspoelmiddel, maar maakt u gebruik van zogenaamde 3-in-1 vaatwasser tabletten.
NL 13 Stopzetten of aanpassen van een wasprogramma (EVW7947/EVW7961) 1. Open de deur. 2. Druk minimaal drie seconden op de start-/resettoets. 3. Pas het wasprogramma aan. 4. Sluit de deur. 5. Druk op de starttoets om het toestel weer in te schakelen. Stopzetten of aanpassen van een wasprogramma (EVW8162) 1.
NL 14 Programmakeuzetabel Programma EVW7947 Informatie Programmaverloop Tijd in min. Eco (EN50242) Standaard dagelijks programma voor normaal vuile vaat, zoals schalen, borden, glazen, niet erg vuile pannen.
NL 15 Zout bijvullen Deze machine is uitgerust met een waterontharder. Vul hiervoor de vaatwasmachine met zout. 1. Draai, na eerst de onderste korf te hebben verwijderd, de dop van het reservoir los. 2. Voordat u het reservoir de eerste keer vult giet u er één liter water in.
NL 16 Informeer bij het waterleidingbedrijf naar de hardheid van het leidingwater om een en ander volgens de tabel in te stellen. Glansspoelmiddel Tijdens de laatste spoelbeurt wordt glansspoelmiddel toegevoegd. Glansspoelmiddel voorkomt dat er sporen van druppels achterblijven op de schone vaat.
NL 17 Het glansspoelmiddelreservoir heeft 6 standen. Stel het reservoir in eerste instantie in op stand 2. Indien er in dat geval vlekken op het vaatwerk blijven ontstaan en de vaat niet goed droogt vergroot u de hoeveelheid glansspoelmiddel door de keuzeknop van het reservoir op stand 3 te draaien.
NL 18 normale afwasbeurt. Gebruik meer vaatwasmiddel bij sterker vervuild vaatwerk. Vul het zeepbakje vlak voor de start van het programma. Het vaatwasmiddel kan anders vochtig worden en daardoor niet volledig oplossen. Vullen 1. Druk op de ontgrendeling als de deksel gesloten is.
NL 19 Plaats het vaatwerk zodanig dat het niet kan verschuiven wanneer het besproeid wordt. De bovenkorf kan in hoogte versteld worden door de korf uit te nemen en in een andere stand in de geleiderails te plaatsen.
NL 20 Bordenrekken neerklappen Om potten en pannen makkelijker te kunnen plaatsen, kunt u de achterste bordenrekken neerklappen. Bestekmandje (beladingsvoorbeeld) Bestek moet in het bestekmandje worden geplaatst, met de heften naar beneden.
NL 21 Beperkt geschikt bestek/servies voor in de vaatwasser • Sommige glassoorten kunnen dof worden na een groot aantal wasbeurten • Zilver en aluminium kunnen verkleuren na gebruik in de vaatwass.
NL 22 Beschadiging van glaswerk en ander servies Mogelijke oorzaken: • Type glas of fabrikageproces. Chemische samenstelling van het vaatwasmiddel. • Watertemperatuur en tijdsduur van het wasprogramma. Voorgestelde oplossing: • Gebruik glaswerk en porseleinen servies waarvan de fabrikant aangeeft dat het geschikt is voor de vaatwasser.
NL 23 ONDERHOUD Filtersysteem Het filtersysteem haalt op efficiente wijze voedselresten uit het water en zorgt ervoor dat het waswater gedurende het wasprogramma kan blijven circuleren. Het filtersysteem bestaat uit drie componenten: de grote zeef, de grove zeef en de fijne zeef.
NL 24 Waarschuwing! Gebruik de vaatwasser nooit zonder de filtergroep. Incorrect terugplaatsen van de filtergroep heeft tot gevolg dat de vaatwasser niet meer optimaal presteert. Een ander gevolg kan zijn dat er beschadigingen optreden aan bestek en vaatwerk.
NL 25 Geen oplosmiddelen of agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen Gebruik geen oplosmiddelen of agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen voor het onderhoud van de deur en de rubber delen van de vaatwasser.
NL 26 STORINGEN Wat moet ik doen als... Wanneer het toestel niet goed werkt, betekent dit niet altijd dat het defect is. Probeer het euvel eerst zelf te verhelpen. Bel de servicedienst wanneer onderstaande adviezen niet helpen. Let op Maak het toestel spanningsloos voordat met reparatie wordt gestart.
NL 27 Symptoom Mogelijke oorzaak Oplossing Verontreiniging van de kuip. Slecht vaatwasmiddel. Gebruik uitsluitend speciaal vaatwasmiddel voor vaatwassers om verontreiniging te voorkomen. Verstopte filters. Open de deur en reinig de filters. Draai daarna het voorspoelprogramma.
NL 28 Symptoom Mogelijke oorzaak Oplossing Gele of bruine aanslag op de binnenkant van kuip. IJzersporen in water kunnen aanslag in de kuip van de vaatwasser veroorzaken. Neem contact op met een producent van waterontharders voor een speciaal filter. Witte aanslag op de binnenkant van de kuip.
NL 29 Waarschuwing! De vaatwasser moet altijd in een verwarmde vorstvrije ruimte worden opgesteld. Elektrische aansluiting Deze vaatwasser is ontworpen voor aansluiting op 220-240 V - 50 Hz, met een groepszekering van 16 Amp. Let op! • Zorg ervoor dat de aansluitwaarde en de netspanning overeenkomen met die op het gegevensplaatje.
NL 30 Het toestel waterpas zetten Het toestel kan waterpas gezet worden door de stelvoeten te verdraaien. Het toestel mag niet meer dan 2º scheef staan. Aansluiten van de afvoerslang Steek de afvoerslang in een afvoerpijp met een minimale diameter van 4 cm of leg hem in een wasbak.
NL 31 Veiligheidsslang De veiligheidsslang is dubbelwandig uitgevoerd. Dit systeem sluit de watertoevoer automatisch af als er een lek in de slang zit en de ruimte tussen de beide wanden zich vult met water. • Gebruik nieuwe slangen om het toestel aan te sluiten.

GB 9 • Improper use of the door and basket of the dishwasher is not recommended. Do not sit or stand on the door or basket. • Do not clean unsuitable plastic dishes in the appliance, unless they bear a mark indicating that they are dishwasher-safe.
GB 10 • Check whether the detergent reservoir is empty following the end of the wash cycle. • Fill the salt and rinse agent reservoirs prior to first use and when the indicators light up. Set the salt consumption before use. • Disconnect the appliance from the power supply when cleaning or performing repairs.
GB 11 OPERATION Prior to initial use Attention: • Always fill the salt reservoir and adjust the water hardness setting before using the dishwasher (see page 15). • Also fill the rinse agent reservoir and the detergent reservoir (see page 16, 17 and 18).
GB 12 Selecting the ‘3-in-1’ cycle (only for EVW8162) The dishwasher features a 3-in-1 cycle. If you select this cycle, the dishwasher does not need to be filled with salt and rinse agent, but rather you use so-called 3-in-1 dishwasher tablets in their place.
GB 13 Stopping or changing a wash cycle (EVW7947/EVW7961) 1. Open the door. 2. Press the start/reset button more than three seconds. The program stops. The indicator light goes out. 3. Select the desired washing program with the selector button. 4. Close the door.

GB 15 Adding salt This machine is equipped with a water softener. To use the water softener, fill the dishwasher with salt. 1. Remove the bottom basket and then unscrew the cap from the reservoir. 2. Before filling the reservoir for the first time, pour in one litre of water.
GB 16 Your local water authority can inform you how hard your mains water is. Adjustments can then be made according to the table. Rinse agent Rinse agent is added during the final rinse. Rinse agent prevents traces of water droplets being left behind on the clean dishes.
GB 17 The rinse agent reservoir has 6 settings. To begin with, set the reservoir to setting 2. If this still causes spotting on the dishes and the dishes do not dry well, you can increase the amount of rinse agent added by turning the selector knob on the reservoir to setting 3.

Chemical composition of the dishwasher detergent. • Water temperature and duration of the wash cycle. Proposed solution: • Use glassware and porcelain crockery produced by manufacturers that state that it is suitable for dishwashers.
GB 23 MAINTENANCE Filter system The filter system efficiently removes food remnants from the water and ensures that the water is able to continue circulating throughout the wash cycle. The filter system consists of three components: the large filter, the coarse filter and the fine filter.
GB 24 Attention! Never use the dishwasher without the filter system. Incorrect fitting of the filter system will result in the dishwasher no longer delivering maximum performance. Damage to cutlery and dishes is a further possible consequence Cleaning the spray arms It is essential that you clean the spray arms on a regular basis.
GB 25 No solvents or abrasive cleaning To clean the exterior and rubber parts of the dishwasher, do not use solvents or abrasive cleaning products. Rather, use only a cloth and warm soapy water.
GB 26 FAULTS What should I do if... If the appliance is not functioning well, this does not always mean that it is faulty. Try to resolve the fault yourself first. If the recommendations below does not solve your problem, telephone our service department.
