Y ou can install the switch on a lev el surface , such as a desktop o r bench, or in a standard 19-inch rack.

Install cage nuts at the fr ont of the rack so they ar e ready fo r the rack- mount scr ews i n the foll owing steps.

On the A T -PWR05, set the Run/Standby s witch to Run. 4. Check that the PSU LED on the front panel of the switch is lit gr een.
Installation and Safety Guide 13 Wa r n i n g When SBx908 devices are connected with VCS stacking cables (ei ther HS-STK-CBL or XEM-STK-CBL), each indi vidual stack member chassis must be additionally gr ounded by using the rear gr ounding-terminal on each device.

Release the Run/Standb y switch so that it is not pushed in (which is the Off po sition). 9. Connect the supply cable wires to the cir cuit br eak er .
