5 6 USING THE GARDEN GROOM ® PRO NOTE: Either the main collection bag or the optional Mega bag ac cesory must be attached for the Garden Gr oom ® trimmer to opera te. 1. SWIT CH ARRANGEMENT T o operat e the main switch and front s witch, you must first push forw ard the safety switch.
7 8 5. EMPTYING C ONT AINER For speed of oper ation, hold the Garden Groom ® trimmer by the front handle , unclip and withdraw the c on- tainer from the main body and deposit the w aste material int o an appropriate rec eptacle.
9 10 6. Optional Mega Bag Attachement For larger ar eas of hedge gr owth, the Mega Bag attachment has been developed. It has a specially refined extension tube tha t fits to an exhaust hose , and the Mega Bag attachment and is fitted in the same man- ner as the standard c ontainer .
11 12 Plug the Garden Groom ® trimmer into the main eletrical supply and swit ch on. The Garden Groom ® trimmer should now be re ady for use. If it does not oper ate, ensur e the interlock peg is corr ectly aligned with the switch and the retaining clip is firmly plac ed and the main switch po werlight is on.
13 14 TROUBLE SHOO TING PROBLEM ACTION Machine won’ t start - Check to see that the machine is plugged in to a live supply - Check that the wast e container or Mega Bag extension tube is c orrectly attached and the main switch pow erlight is on. Remove and r efit to be sure .
