Appliance purpose • The applianc e may only be connect ed to the pow er mains by an authoriz ed service technician or e xpert.

425520 Befor e opening the co ver , mak e sure it is clean and that there ar e now liquid residues on it. T he cooker co ver is lacquer coat ed and made of glass; it can only be closed once the cooking z ones have c ooled down c ompletely . The applianc e features a built-in c ooling fan which cools the appliance housing and contr ol panel.
425520 • Clean the glass-cer amic surface with a damp cloth and some manual dishw ashing deter gent. Do not use aggres sive cleaners such as abr asive cleaning agents or sponges which may lea ve scr atches, or stain remo vers.
425520 Tips on the use of c ookw are Use high-quality cook war e with a fl at and stable bottom. • T ransmission of heat is bes t when the pan bottom and the cooking zone ar e of the same diameter , and the pan is placed on the middle of the cooking z one.
425520 • T urn on the cooking zones using the knobs ins talled on the contr ol panel. • The s ymbols ne xt to the knobs indicate which c ooking zone is contr olled by a particular knob. • Cooking z one heating pow er can be set either continuously (1-9).
425520 (only a vailable in some models) • With the double c ooking zone and cooking z one for the baking tra y , the heating surface can be adjust ed to match the size and the shape of the c ookwar e. • T urn the cooking zone on and o with the rele vant knob.
425520 • Remo ve all acc essories from the o ven and clean them with warm w ater and a c onv entional detergent. Do not use abrasiv e cleaning aids. • When the o ven is heated up for the fi rst time, a specifi c odor of a “new applianc e” will be discharged; ther efore, ventilat e the room thoroughly while the o ven heats up.
425520 • Select the time settings b y consecutiv ely pres sing the (A) knob. Selected s ymbol will fl ash on the display . Rotate the (A) knob t o set the function and pres s to confi rm. Clock hands will automatically mo ve to time display . The set symbols will r emain lit.
425520 • In or der for the o ven t o operat e, pres s the (A) knob and hold it for tw o seconds. T ime display will stop fl ashing. • The o ven can be used without r estrictions if no timer settings are made .

T emperature setting knob / dial Note: When using the oper ation mode Large grill or Grill , set the temper ature selection knob t o the position indicated as appropriat e for these two operation modes.
425520 Oven lighting With some models, ther e are tw o interior lighting lamps: one on the upper part of the back wall, and the other , additional lamp on middle of the right side wall. Ov en lighting can be selected independently , without selecting another function.
425520 Hot air and low er heater With this oper ation mode, the lo wer heat er and the hot air fan oper ate simultaneously . This is particularly con venient for making pizza. Also ideal for moist or hea vy pastry , fruit cakes made of lea vened dough, short pastry , or cheesecakes.
425520 Oven ac cessories (the grid, aluminum baking tra y , deep baking tra y) can be inserted into the ov en at four height lev els. Each lev el is described in the cooking tables (see section Food pr eparation). Please note that the shelf lev els are al ways re fe rre d to fr om bottom up.

425520 Cleaning the ov en interior ceiling ( only with some models) • T o facilitate cleaning of the o ven int erior upper wall, some appliances featur e a foldable upper infra heater . • Before lo wering the heater , the cook er must be disconnected fr om the power mains b y remo ving the fuse or tripping the main switch.
425520 REMO VING INSIDE DOOR GLASS – APPLIES T O PREMIUM FULL -GLASS DOOR Door glass can also be cleaned fr om the interior side; howeve r , door has to be remo ved fi rst (see section on remo ving and replacing the o ven door).
425520 REMO VING AND REPLA CING THE OVEN DOOR WITH A SINGLE- AXIS HINGE ( depending on the model) Conv entional closing • Fully open the o ven door and r otate the stoppers all the wa y back – applies to con ventional door closing (Figure 1). • Slowly close the door until the clips ar e pressed against the supports / seats.
425520 • Cook er dra wer is prot ected against ac cidental opening. If you wish t o open the draw er , raise it slightly . In order to r emov e the draw er , fi rst pull it out to the stopper , then raise it again and pull it out c ompletely .
