NO TE The friction shoe is a loose fit and may f all out or become dis- lodged if the lower s witch housing is tur ned upside down or shaken. 5. See Figure 5. Remov e the brass f err ules from the notches on the inboard side of the throttle control grip , then remov e f errules from the cable end fittings.

Be sure that the upper s witch housing har ness will not be pinched under the handlebar when the s witch housing screws are tightened. 7. Star t the upper and low er switch housing scre ws saved in Step 3, but do not completely tighten at this time .
