4.3.2 Windows 95, 98 or NT 4.0 (Client-Server) There are 3 ways in which you may install the printer softwar e onto a client computer running Windows 95, 98 or NT 4.0. Option 1 Step 1 – Install Printer Software and Associate Softwar e to Printer 1. Insert the Starter CD or PostScript CD into your CD-ROM drive.
4.3.3 Windows 95, 98 or NT 4.0 (Peer-to-Peer) There are 2 methods to configur e the printer onto the network. Option 1 Step 1 – Install HP JetAdmin 1. Insert the HP JetDirect CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. If the installation progr am does not run automatically, access File Manager or Explorer and run SET UP .
2500C HP Sharing The Printer Through A PC 5. Before you proceed to install the printer softwar e, ensure that the following is true: • The server computer (which the printer will be connected to) has been set up correctly in the networking environment.

Step 2 - Map to the Shared Printer 1. In the Connect Network Printer dialog box, type in the path where the printer has been mapped to and select the shar ed printer. 2.
