28 Positioning Flip Back Armrests for Use 1. Make sure the flip back armrest release lever is in the UP (HORIZONT AL) position. 2. Install the flip back armrest into the front arm socket. 3. Lock flip back armrest by pressing flip back armrest release lever into the DOWN (VERTICAL) position.

50 Recommended Battery Types W ARNING The warranty and per fo rmance specifications contained in this manual are based on the use of deep cycle gel cell or sealed lead acid bat- teries. Invacare strongly recommends their use as the power source for this unit.

57 REPLACING BATTERIES W ARNING Most batteries are not sold with instructions. How- ever , war nings are f r equently noted on the cell caps. Read them car efully, otherwise injury or damage can occur . NOTE: Invacare recommends that both batteries be re- placed if one (1) battery is defective.
