The exercise cycle blends advanced engineering with contemporary styling to provide you with a low-impact workout in the conve- nience and privacy of your own home. For your benefit, read this manual carefully before you use the KA THY IRELAND EXERCISE CYCLE.
ASSEMBL Y 4 2 2 39 3 5 1. Pivot the Scissor Frame (3) and the Frame (1) to the position shown. Insert the ÒLÓ Pin (54) into the indicated holes in the Scissor Frame and secure it with the Spring Clip (55). Hold one of the Stabilizers (2) against the saddle on the Frame (1), with the square holes facing away from the saddle.
5 4 5 4. Slide the Handlebar Collars (12) onto the Handlebars (6). Attach the Handlebars to the Scissor Frame (3) with four M6 Button Head Bolts (19) and four M6 Locknuts (52). Next, slide the Handlebar Collars over the Button Head Bolts. 5. The Console (48) requires two AA batteries (not included).
6 HOW T O USE THE EXERCISE CYCLE HOW TO ADJUST THE SEA T For effective exercise, the Seat (21) should be at the proper height. As you pedal, there should be a slight bend in your knees when the pedals are in the lowest position. T o adjust the Seat, first hold the Seat and remove the Seat Pin (16).
7 Speed, time, distance or calorie modeÑT o select one of these modes for continuous display , press the mode but- ton repeatedly . The mode indicators will show which mode is selected. Make sure that the scan mode is not selected. 3. T o reset the display , press the on/reset button.
8 Next, locate the Reed Switch (49). T urn the Crank (22) until the Magnet (4) is aligned with the Reed Switch. Loosen but do not remove the M4 x 16mm Screw (46). Slide the Reed Switch slightly closer to or away from the Magnet. Retighten the Screw . T urn the Crank for a moment.
