7 Gas Supply Re quirements Observe all gover ning cod es and ordinances. IMPORT ANT : This insta llation mu st confo rm with all l ocal code s and ordinances. In the absence of loc al codes , install ation must conform with America n National Stan dard, National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z 223.
8 Door Style T ank T ray 1. Open cabinet doors. 2. Press the lockin g tab on th e tank tra y and pull ou t the tray . 3. Place the 20 lb LP gas fuel tank bottom col lar into the mounti ng hole in th e tank tray . 4. Tighten the locki ng screw against t he bottom collar of t he 20 lb LP gas f uel tank to sec ure.
9 Natural Gas Conversion Conversion must be made by a qualifi ed gas techni cian. The qualifie d Natural gas t echnici an shall provid e the Natura l gas supply to the sel ected grill loc ation in accordance with th e National Fu el Gas Code ANSI Z22 3.
10 Attach Side Shelf (on some models) 1. Open doors below grill an d remove carton. Unpack si de shelf. 2. Locate 4 screws. Ins tall 2 s crews in the t op 2 hol es on each side of the gril l. Leave screws away from side of grill about ¼" (0.64 cm).
11 Make Gas Connec tion - T o a 20 lb LP Gas Fue l T ank If conve rti ng to local L P or N atura l gas , foll ow in str uctio ns in the “Gas Conversions” sect ion. LP Gas: IMPORT ANT : A 20 lb LP gas fuel tan k must be pur chased separat ely . IMPORT ANT : The gas pressur e regulator/hose assembly suppli ed with th e grill must b e used.
12 4. Tighten the locki ng screw against t he bottom collar of t he 20 lb LP gas f uel tank to sec ure. 5. Screw the ga s pressure regul ator/h ose assemb ly to th e 20 lb LP gas fuel tank as shown.
13 ■ Pipe-j oint compounds suitable for us e with LP gas must be used. D o not use TEFLON ®† tape. 2. Open the manua l shutoff valve in t he gas supp ly lin e. The valve is open when th e handle is paral lel to th e gas pipe. 3. T e st all con nections by brushing on an approved noncorrosive leak-d etection sol ution.

17 3. Use 6 mm socket and wrench or 6 mm nut driver to remove the brass orifices from the end of the gas valv es. 4. Instal l new 2. 34 mm o rifice s supp lied with t his ki t to the en d of the gas valve. Us e 6 mm socket and wrench or 6 mm nut drive r to tighte n.
18 4. Use 10 mm socket and w rench or 10 mm nut driver to ins tall the new 2 .1 mm orifices su pplied with this kit. NOTE : The number 2.1 is stamped on the orifice for identi fication . 5. Repeat the proced ure for the other bur ner . 6. Replace th e bur ner top an d caps.
19 Check and A djust the Burne rs The bur ners are test ed and factory -set for most efficient oper ation. How ever , varia tions in ga s supply an d other condi tions may make minor adjustments to ai r s hutter or low flame setting necessary . It is recommended that a qualif ied person make bur ner adjustment s.

21 When the 20 lb LP gas fuel tank is Low: 1. The Electronic Dis play will di splay “LO” when the 20 lb LP gas f uel tank is low. NOTE : W hen t he Elect ronic Dis play sh ows “L O”, yo ur 20 lb LP gas fuel ta nk is low . The bur ner flames may s eem smaller than when the tan k is full.
22 Using Y ou r Outdoor Grill Inspect the 20 lb LP Gas Fuel T ank Supply Hose Inspect the gas pressure regulator/ho se assembl y before each use. 1. Open the right-h and drawer and s lide 20 lb LP gas fu el tank out. 2. Inspect the entire gas pressu re r egula tor/hose a ssembly for cuts, abras ions, or exces sive wear .
23 Lighting the Grill and Infrared Sear Burner 1. Do not lean ove r the gril l. 2. Select the burner you wa nt to light. P ush in and tu r n the gril l burn er control knob to LITE/HI, wh ile continuin g to hold it in. 3. Y ou will see the igniter glow or hear the “snapping” sound of the spark (d ependin g on your model).

26 5. Push i n and turn the contr ol knob to LI TE/HI. Hold this kn ob in for 1 0 seconds after the burner is lit. Y ou may see the igniter glow or hear th e “snapping” sound of the spark (dependin g on your model) un til after the knob is released.

28 Moist-Dry Slide C ontrol The Moist-D ry slide cont rol allows you to ope n or close the vent slots in the door . The MOIST setting holds moistur e in, while the DR Y setti ng allows steam an d moisture to escape from the drawer . NOTE : Condens ation may form on inner s urfaces.

30 T IPS FO R OUTD OOR GRILL ING Before Grilling ■ Thaw food items before gri lling. ■ Preheat grill on hi gh (use all grill burn ers) 10 minu tes. The hood must be closed d uring preheating. There is no n eed to use the back rotisse rie bur ner for preheating.

59 Contrôle et réglage des brûleurs Les brûleurs ont été testé s et réglés à l'u sine pour un fonctionne ment efficace. Cep endant d e légères modific ations du réglage de l'adm.
