4 ■ Depending on your water hardness, fill the Main W ash section of the dispens er as sho wn. Fill th e Pre-W ash sect ion to the level shown, if needed. NOTE: Fill amounts sh own are for standard powdered deter gent. Follow ins tructions on the package when using other dishwasher detergent.
5 Cycle and Option Descrip tions This informat ion covers sev eral different models. Y our di shwasher may n ot have al l of the cycles an d options des cribed. Y ou can customize you r cycle by selecti ng an option. See option sel ections. I f you change your mind, press th e option again to tur n off the option, or select a differ ent option.

7 Dishwasher Features Y our KitchenAid dishwasher may have some or all of these features. SURE-HOLD ® Small It ems Mesh Pouch This pouch hangs on the rack. Use it to ho ld small items that could otherwise “fly” arou nd inside the dishwasher during a cycle.
