6 Doub le and T riple Eleme nts (on some models) The Double a nd T riple e lement s of fer fle xibili ty depe nding on the size of the cookware. Singl e size can be used in the same way as a regular elemen t.
7 ■ T o avoid damage to the cooktop, do not leave a h ot lid on the cooktop. As the cooktop cools, air can be come trapped between t he lid and th e cooktop, and the ceramic glas s could bre ak when the lid is r emoved. ■ For foods containing sugar in any form, cl ean up all spills and soils a s soon as p ossible.
8 ELECTRONIC OVE N CONTROL Electronic C ontrol Pads When pressing an y control pad fun ction on the El ectronic Oven Cont rol, u se the pad o f yo ur fi nge r to pres s the desi red fu ncti on. Hold down the pad a few seco nds, or unt il th e desir ed func tion appears in the disp lay .

10 Auto Convect Conversion (on some models) The oven comes from t he factory set for Auto Convect conversion. Au to Convect Con version au tomatical ly reduces the set temperat ure by 25°F for Convect Bake and Convect Pas try . For Convect Roast the con trol will alert you at 75% of the programmed roasting time to c heck foods for d oneness.
11 208/2 40V For impr oved r esults when using Bake, the oven can be set fr om 240V to 2 08V if your hous ehold is on 208V . T o set the oven to 208V : 1. Press SET UP . 2. Use ri ght Q uicks et pa d to scro ll t o 208/2 40V . 3. Select 20 8/240V using the l e ft Quicks et pad.
12 OVEN U SE Odors and smoke are normal when the oven is u sed the first few times, or when it is heavi ly soile d. During oven use, the heat ing elements will not remain on, but will cycle on and off throughout oven operati on. IMPORT AN T : The healt h of some birds is ex tremely sensi tive to the f umes gi ven off .
13 BAKEWARE Hot air must be able t o circulate around food to cook evenly , so allow 2" (5.0 cm) of spac e around bakeware and oven wa lls. Use the following c hart as a guide. Bake The BAKE function is ideal for bak ing, roasting or heati ng foods.
14 BROILING CHART For best res ults, place food 3" (7.0 cm) or more from the br oil element. Time s are guideline s only and may need to be ad jus ted for indivi dual tastes. Rec omme nded rack po sition s are numbered fro m th e bott om ( 1) to the to p (7).
15 Convect Roast (on some models) Convection Roa st can be used to roast meat and poult ry , and vegetab les. T o Convec t Roast: Before convection roastin g, positi on racks according to t he “Positioni ng Racks and B akeware” section.
16 Dry in g (on some mo dels) For best r esults, use a drying rack. A dry ing rack al lows air t o circulate evenly around the food. The convection fan will operat e during th e drying procedure.
