7 MICROWAVE OVEN CONTROL Dis pla y When power is firs t supplied to t he microwave oven, a “:” will blink on the displ ay . T o uch CANCE L to stop th e blinkin g. If the “:” blinks on th e displa y at any other time, a power failure has occurred.
8 Ti m e r The Timer can be set in minute s and second s, up to 99 minutes, 99 seconds an d counts down t he set time. NOTE : The Timer does not st art or stop the microwave oven. When the Timer is i n use, the microwave oven can still ope rate. T o see the time countdown for 5 seconds w hile the microwave oven is i n use, t ouch TIMER .
9 Food Characteristics When microwave cooking, the amount, s ize and shape, startin g temperature, composi tion and density of th e food affect cooking results. Amoun t o f Fo od The more food heated at once, the longe r the cook time. Check for doneness and add small increments of time if ne cessary .
10 Do Not Use Metal cookwar e and ba kewar e, gold , silver , pewte r , non- approved meat th ermometers, skewers , twist ti es, foil line rs such as sandwic h wrappers, s taples and obj ects with gold or silver trim or a metall ic glaze should not be u sed in the oven.
11 T o Use Sensor Coo king: Before using, make sure the microwave oven has been pl ugged in for at least 3 min utes, the room temperature is not above 95°F (35°C) and th e outside of th e container and mi crowave oven cavity are dry . 1. T ouch one of the 5 SENSOR food pads.

28 Utilisation de la cuisson à détection : Avant de l'utili ser , s'assurer que le four à micro-ondes est branché de puis au moins 3 minu tes, que la température de la pièce n'est pas supérieu r e à 95°F (35°C) et que l'exté rieur du contenant et l a cavité du four à micro-ondes s ont secs.

30 Décongélation adaptée On peut utili ser la caracté ristiqu e de décongélat ion adaptée ou régler manuelle ment le four à micro-ondes pour la déc ongélation avec une pu issance de cui sson de 30 %. ■ Pour des résu ltats opti maux, l’alimen t devrait être à 0ºF (-18º C) ou plus froi d lors d e la dé congélati on.
31 Mijot age de s pâte s Utiliser un conte nant assez grand pour que l' eau couvre complètement l 'aliment. Ajou ter 1 c. à soupe (15 mL) d' huile à l'eau. Pl acer le contenant et l'eau dans le fou r à micro-ondes, suivre les éta pes ci-des sus et régle r une durée de mij otage de 1 seconde.
32 ENTRETIEN DU FOU R À MICRO-ONDES Nettoyage général IMPORT ANT : Avant le nettoyage , s’assurer que toutes l es commandes sont dé sactivées et que le four est froid. T oujours suivre les in struction s sur l’éti quette des p r oduits de n ettoyage.
33 Remplacement d es filtres Les filtres à grai sse devraient être enlevés et nett oyés au moins une fois par mois. Les filtres au charbon ne peuven t être lavés et devraient être r emplacés à i ntervalles de 6 à 12 mois. Ne pas faire fonctionner le fou r à micro-ondes sans que les filtr es soient en place.
