3 Location Requirements T o ensure proper ventilation for your refrigerator , allow for a ¹⁄₂ " (1.25 cm) space at the top and b ehind the refrigerator . If your refrigerator has an ic e maker , al low extra s pace at the back for the wate r line con nections.
4 W ater Pr essure A cold water sup ply with water pr essu re of b etween 35 and 120 psi (24 1 and 827 kPa) is required to operate t he water dispenser an d ice maker . If you have questions about your water pressure, call a li censed, qualifie d plumbe r .
5 3. Using an adj ustable w rench, hold th e nut on the plastic w ater line to ke ep it fr om moving. The n, with a s econd wr ench turn the nut on the copper t ubing co unte rclockwi se to comp lete ly tigh ten. Do n ot ov ertigh ten. 4. Check connecti on by pulling on the cop per tubing.
6 4. Remove the shim from the bott om hinge pin and keep it for lat er us e. See B ott om H ing e gr aphi c. 5. Remove top hinge cover fr om left side r efrigerator door . Disconnect t he wiring plug l ocated on top of th e hinge by wedgin g a flat-blade s cre wdriver or you r fingernail bet ween the two sect ions.
