2 ‘05-’06 Frontier Leveling - Kit NL221 Before S t arting Inst allation 1. Carefully read all warnings and instructions com- pletely before beginning. 2. V erify all parts have been received in this kit by checking the part s list at th e e nd of this document.
3 ‘05-’06 Frontier Leveling - Kit NL221 Engine Comp artment 1. Disconnect both battery ca bles. Disconnect negative cable first, then positive cable. Prep are to Inst all Front Leveling Kit 1. Loosen, but do not remove, lug nuts on each front wheel.
4 ‘05-’06 Frontier Leveling - Kit NL221 a. Scribe alignment mark lengthwise along upper plate, coil spring, and sh ock for proper re- assembly . b. Using coil spring c ompressors, carefully c om- press coil spring until co il spring is loose on shock.
5 ‘05-’06 Frontier Leveling - Kit NL221 g. Align marks on coil spring, upper plate, and shock. Install upper plate, shock, bushing, washer , and nut onto coil spring. h. Ensure marks are aligned along upper plate, coil spring, and shock. i. Install kit spacer (upper) onto upper plate.
