Finishing options > 31 S EPARATING QUEUED PRINT JOBS When you share a printer with other users it ca n be useful to print a special page between print jobs to help locate each user’s job in a paper stack at the printer. In Windows this page is called a “separator page”.
Finishing options > 32 C OVER PRINT Cover print is whe n the first page (cover) of a print job is fed from one paper tray, and the remaining pages of the pri nt job are fed from another paper t ray. This feature is not available in the Windows PostScript Drivers.
Finishing options > 33 C USTOM PAGE SIZE This feature enables printing on non-standard sized print media. The multipurpose tray is used for feed ing no n-standard media sizes. Print media width can be from approximately 64mm to 216mm, and its length c an be from 127mm to 355.

Offset relative to perp endicular direction adds to your lef t margin. Offset relative to parallel directio n adds to your top ma rgin (normal feed) or bottom margin (flipped feed).

Maintenance > 60 11. Gently wipe the LED head surface with a clean, lint free cloth. 12. Finally , close the top cover and press down fi rmly at both sides so that the cover latches closed. I MAGE DRUM REPLACEMENT The printer contains four image drum s: white, magenta, yellow and cyan.

Maintenance > 62 6. Lift the right -hand end of the toner cartridge ( 1) and then draw the cartridge to the right to release the left -hand end as shown (2), and withdr aw the toner cartridge out of the image drum cartridge. Place the cartridge on a piece of paper to a void marking your furniture.
Maintenance > 63 10. Holding the complete assembly by its top ce ntre, lower it into place in the printer , locating the pegs at each end into their slots in the sides of the printer cavity . 11. Finally , close the top cover and press down fi rmly at both sides so that the cover latches closed.
Maintenance > 64 3. Lift each of the image drum units out of the printer and place them in a safe place away from direct sources of heat and light. 4. Locate the two fasteners (a) at each side of the belt and the lifting bar (b) at the front end. 5.
Maintenance > 65 7. Lower the new belt unit int o place, with th e lifting bar at the front and the drive gear towards the rear of the printer . Locate the dri ve gear into the gear inside the printer by the rear left corner of the unit, and lower the belt unit flat inside the printer .
Maintenance > 66 3. Pull the two fuser retaining levers (b) toward s the front of the printe r so that they are fully up right. 4. Holding the fuser by its handle (a), lift the fu ser str aight up and out of the printer . If the fuser is still warm, place it on a flat surface which will not be damaged by heat.
Maintenance > 67 C LEANING ... THE UNIT CASING 1. Switch the printer off . 2. Wipe the unit surface with a soft cloth moistened sparingly with water or neutr al detergent. 3. (a) To remove a sheet with its l eading edge at the front of the belt (a), carefully lift the sheet from the bel t and pull it forwards into the i nternal drum cavity and withdraw the s heet.
Troubleshooting > 79 through the drum c avity area. Then allo w the pressure release lever to rise again. (d) To remove a sheet in the fuser, push the two retai ning levers (e) towards the rear of the printer to release the fuser. Withdraw the fuser unit using the handle (f).
