7 VQT2C38 ∫ Det aching the Lens ≥ Check that the cam era is t urned off. Press th e lens relea se button C while turning the lens a s far as possible in the direction of the arrow to det ach it. • A ttach the lens rear cap so that the lens contact point does not get scratched.
8 VQT2C38 2 Reve rse t he le ns h ood and t hen attach i t in the sam e way as shown pr eviously . • W hen taking pictures with the flash with the lens hood attached, the lower porti on of the screen may turn dark (vignetting effect) and the control of the flash may be disabled because t he photo flash may be obscured by the lens hood.
9 VQT2C38 4 [O.I.S.] swi tch When the lens is attached to the c amera the stab ilizer function is set to activ ate if the [O. I.S.] switch is set to [ON]. ≥ We recommend setting the [O.I.S.] switch to [OFF] when using a t ripod. ≥ The stabilizer f unction may not be ef fective in the following cases.
