NL 4 Inleiding U heeft gekozen voor een fornuis van Pelgrim. Optimaal gebruiks- comfort en een eenvoudige bediening stonden voorop bij de ontwikkeling van dit product. De uitgebr eide instelmogelijkheden maken het mogelijk exact dìe bereidingswijze te kiezen die u voor ogen staat.

NL 7 VEILIGHEID ALGEMEEN Aansluiten en reparatie • Dit toestel mag alleen door een hiertoe bevoegd installateur geïnstalleerd wor den. Hierbij dienen de installatie voorschriften en de plaatselijk geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften gevolgd te worden.
NL 8 • Als de stekker na installatie niet meer bereikbaar is, moet de aansluiting voorzien worden van een omnipolaire schakelaar met een contactafstand van minimaal 3 mm. • Gebruik geen adapters of verlengsnoeren. Deze kunnen warm worden tijdens gebruik, waar door brand kan ontstaan.
NL 9 • De oven heeft een ventilator die de ovenmantel koelt. Nadat de oven is uitgeschakeld, kan deze ventilator nog enige tijd nadraaien. • Controleer of het apparaat is uitgeschakeld voordat u de lamp vervangt om het risico op een elektrische schok te vermijden.
NL 10 VEILIGHEID OVEN • Gebruik nooit een hogedrukreiniger of stoomreiniger voor het r einigen van de oven. • Gebruik nooit agressieve r einigingsmiddelen of scherpe metalen schrapers om het glas van de ovendeur te reinigen. Deze kunnen krassen op het oppervlak veroorzaken, waar door het glas zou kunnen breken.
NL 11 VEILIGHEID GASKOOKPLAA T V eilig gebruik • WAARSCHUWING : dit apparaat en de toegankelijke delen worden heet tijdens het gebruik. Raak hete delen niet aan.
NL 12 VEILIGHEID GASKOOKPLAA T • Aluminium bakjes of folie zijn niet geschikt als kookgerei. Ze kunnen inbranden op de branderdoppen en pandragers. • De kookplaat kan alleen goed functioner en wanneer de branderdelen via de geleidingsnokken in elkaar zijn gezet.
NL 13 blussen! Doof de vlammen met een geschikte deksel, een vochtige doek of iets der gelijks. • W anneer onder het apparaat een lade zit, zonder tussenbodem, mogen daarin geen licht ontvlambare voorwerpen/stof fen worden bewaard. • Gebruik nooit een hogedrukreiniger of stoomreiniger voor het r einigen van de kookplaat.
NL 14 Gebruik van de oven • V erwijder alle delen van het toebehoren uit de oven en reinig ze met een warm sopje. Gebruik geen schurende schoonmaakmiddelen. • Schakel de oven één uur lang in op de hoogste temperatuur met boven- en onderwarmte (zie pagina 16).
NL 15 VÓÓR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK Bodem niet afdekken • Het afdekken van de ovenbodem met bijvoorbeeld aluminiumfolie of een bakplaat kan tot oververhitting en beschadiging van het email leiden.
NL 16 VÓÓR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK • Leg het vlees in een braadslede en overgiet het met hete boter en/ of vet. Als het vlees een vette kant heeft, dan legt u deze tijdens het braden boven. Vlees zonder vette kant om de 15 minuten bedruipen. Vlees met vette kant om de 30 minuten bedruipen.
NL 17 Instellen van de klok Als u het toestel voor de eerste keer aansluit, knipperen ‘auto’ en ‘0 00’ in de display . De juiste dagtijd moet nog worden ingesteld. 1. Druk op de toets ‘handmatig’. ‘0 00’ stopt met knipperen en het kooksymbool verschijnt.
NL 18 BEDIENING V AN DE OVEN Onderwarmte Deze functie wordt aanbevolen voor ger echten waarbij de bodem goed gaar moet worden. De bodems van gerechten wor den goed doorbakken.Vóór het einde van het bakproces (met nog een kwart van de baktijd te gaan) draait u de functieknop op onderwarmte.
NL 19 BEDIENING V AN DE OVEN Ovenfuncties kleine oven Ovenverlichting De ovenverlichting gaat branden. 100 - 260 °C Boven- en onderwarmte (conventioneel) Een boven- en onderelement verwarmen het ger echt, geschikt voor de bereiding van één gerecht.
NL 20 BEDIENING V AN DE OVEN ▷ W anneer de toets ‘tijdsduur’ wordt losgelaten, begint het aftellen van de geprogrammeer de baktijd en verschijnt de huidige tijd weer in de display . 4. Selecteer een temperatuur met de thermostaatknop en een ovenfunctie met de functieknop.
NL 21 BEDIENING V AN DE OVEN ▷ U kunt de + of - toets ingedrukt houden om sneller de gewenste tijd in te stellen. ▷ W anneer de toets ‘eindtijd’ wordt losgelaten, begint het aftellen van de geprogrammeer de tijd en verschijnt de huidige tijd weer in de display .
NL 22 BEDIENING V AN DE OVEN Het geluidssignaal instellen Als u geen ovenfunctie hebt ingesteld, kunt u met de - toets het geluidssignaal aanpassen. Er zijn drie verschillende signalen. 1. Druk twee keer op de - toets. U hoort een geluidssignaal. 2. Druk meteen daarna een derde keer op de - toets.
NL 23 BEDIENING GASKOOKPLAA T Ontsteken en instellen Een symbool bij de bedieningsknop geeft aan welke brander wordt bediend. Elke brander kan traploos worden ger egeld tussen vol- en kleinstand. Aansteken met vonkontsteking Druk de bedieningsknop in en draai deze linksom naar de volstand.
NL 24 COMFORT ABEL KOKEN De kookplaat optimaal gebruiken Zorg er altijd voor dat de vlammen onder de pan blijven. Als vlammen om de pan heen spelen gaat veel energie verlor en. Bovendien kunnen de handgrepen dan te heet wor den. Gebruik geen pannen met een kleinere bodemdiameter dan 12 cm.
NL 25 Let op Maak het toestel spanningsloos voordat met r eparatie of schoonmaken wordt gestart. Bij voorkeur door de stekker uit het stopcontact te halen of de schakelaar in de meterkast op nul te zetten. Draai de gaskraan in de toevoerleiding dicht.
NL 26 gelakte oppervlakken te reinigen. U kunt ook r einigingsmiddelen gebruiken die speciaal voor dit soort oppervlakken werden ontwikkeld. In dit geval volgt u de instructies van de fabrikant. Geëmailleerde delen De binnenkant van de ovendeur , de gehele binnenoven alsook de bak- en braad plaat zijn geheel geëmailleerd.
NL 27 • Gelakte, roestvrijstalen en verzinkte oppervlakken en aluminium onderdelen mogen nooit in contact komen met ovensprays, want daardoor raken ze beschadigd en verkleur en ze.
NL 28 ONDERHOUD Demontage van de ovendeur Bij normaal gebruik hoeft de ovendeur niet uitgenomen te worden. Mocht u dit toch willen doen, volg dan de onderstaande instructies op. Let op! De ovendeur is erg zwaar en moet goed ondersteund wor den. 1. Open de deur en kantel de ver grendeling A in beide scharnieren volledig naar buiten.
NL 29 ONDERHOUD V erwijderen van de geleiders U kunt beide geleiders uitnemen om de binnenkant van de oven eenvoudiger te reinigen. De geleiders zijn op drie punten aan de ovenwand bevestigd (zie afbeelding). 1. Duw de geleider in het midden van de bovenkant uit de bor ging.
NL 30 Reinigen pandragers Reinig de pandragers niet in de vaatwasser . Het emaille op de pandragers is geschikt voor reiniging in de vaatwasser , maar de verbinding met de rubber voetjes echter niet. Bovendien kan bij reiniging in de vaatwasser lichte verkleuring van de pandragers optreden.
NL 31 Storingstabel W anneer u twijfelt over de goede werking van uw toestel, betekent dit niet automatisch dat er een defect is. Controleer in elk geval de volgende punten in onderstaande tabel of kijk voor meer informatie op de website ‘www .pelgrim.
NL 32 STORINGEN Storing bij de kookplaat Mogelijke oorzaak Oplossing De brander brandt niet egaal. Branderdelen niet juist geplaatst. Zet de branderdelen via de centreernokken in elkaar . Branderdelen vervuild/ vochtig. Reinig/droog de brander - delen.
NL 33 Algemeen Dit toestel mag alleen door een erkend installateur worden aangesloten. De gasaansluiting en de elektrische aansluiting moeten voldoen aan de nationale en lokale voorschriften.
NL 34 Gasaansluiting • Wij adviseren de kookplaat aan te sluiten met een vaste leiding. Aansluiting door middel van een speciaal daarvoor bestemde veiligheidsslang is ook toegestaan. • Achter een oven moet een volledig metalen slang worden gebruikt.
NL 35 Montage opstaande rand 1. Plaats de opstaande rand A op de achterzijde van het vlak en laat de gaten samenvallen. 2. Draai met een kruiskopschr oevendraaier de 4 schroeven B volledig vast.
NL 36 W aterpas stellen Met de stelvoetjes is het fornuis in hoogte verstelbaar . Wilt u het fornuis op een verhoging plaatsen, zorg er dan voor dat deze hier niet vanaf kan glijden. Let op! Controleer na installatie van het toestel of de branders goed werken.
NL 37 Afmetingen T echnische gegevens Op het gegevensplaatje worden de totale aansluitwaar de, de vereiste spanning en de frequentie aangegeven. Dit toestel voldoet aan alle relevante CE richtlijnen.
NL 38 Verpakking en toestel afvoeren Bij de vervaardiging van dit toestel is gebruik gemaakt van duurzame materialen. Dit toestel moet aan het eind van zijn levenscyclus op verantwoorde wijze wor den afgevoerd. De overheid kan u hieromtr ent informatie verschaffen.

EN 7 GENERAL SAFETY Connecting and repair • This appliance may only be installed by a qualified installer . The installation instructions and any applicable local safety regulations must be followed. • Check the appliance for damage caused in transit.
EN 8 • If the plug is no longer accessible after installation, the connection must be equipped with an omnipolar switch with a contact separation of at least 3 mm. • Do not use adaptors or extension leads. These may become warm during use, resulting in fir e.
EN 9 • Make sure the device is turned off befor e replacing the bulb to avoid risk of electric shock. • Do not place accessories on the open oven door . • Close the oven door during cooking. • Be careful while baking when opening the door as hot steam may escape.
EN 10 OVEN SAFETY • Fruit juices can result in dif ficult to remove stains on the oven floor . When cooking moist cake (e.g., apple pie), make sure to use the r oasting tin as a drip tray . • Spilled food containing sugar or fruit juices, such as prune juice or rhubarb, can damage the colour of the enamel.
EN 11 GAS HOB SAFETY Safe use • WARNING : this appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Do not touch hot parts. Keep children younger than 8 away from the appliance, unless you can watch them continuously .
EN 12 GAS HOB SAFETY • Aluminium trays or foil are not suitable as cooking utensils. They can burn into the bur ner caps and pan supports. • The hob can only function effectively if the burner components have been assembled using the guide ridges.
EN 13 • If there is a drawer underneath the device, without an intermediate bottom, this should not be used to store highly flammable objects/ materials. • Never use a pressur e cleaner or steam cleaner to clean the hob. • The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote- control system.
EN 14 Using the oven • Remove all accessories from inside the oven and clean them with warm soapy water . Do not use any abrasive cleaning materials. • Set the oven at its highest setting for one hour with top and bottom heat (see page 16). This will remove any pr otective grease used during manufacture.
EN 15 BEFORE USING Do not cover the oven floor • Covering the oven bottom with, for example, aluminium foil or a baking tray can lead to overheating and damage to the enamel.
EN 16 BEFORE USING • If the gravy is too dark, add a few spoonfuls of water now and then during roasting. • Cover the meat loosely with foil and let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Using the gas hob • Regularly check that the burner caps and bur ner rings are corr ectly positioned on the burner bases.
EN 17 Setting the clock When connecting the unit for the first time, ‘auto’ and ‘0:00’ will flash on the display . The correct time of day has yet to be set. 1. Pr ess the ‘manual’ button. ‘0:00’ will stop flashing and the cooking symbol will appear .
EN 18 OPERA TING THE OVEN Bottom heat This mode is recommended for dishes wher e the bottom should be well cooked. The bottoms of dishes are cooked well.Befor e you are finished baking (with a quarter of the baking time to go), switch the function knob to ‘bottom heat’ mode.
EN 19 OPERA TING THE OVEN Small oven functions Oven light The oven light switches on. 100– 260°C T op and bottom heat (conventional) A top and bottom heating element heat the food, suitable for the preparation of one dish.
EN 20 OPERA TING THE OVEN ▷ Y ou can press and hold the ‘+’ or ‘−’ button to set the desir ed time quicker . ▷ When the ‘duration’ button is released, the countdown of the programmed baking time will start and the curr ent time will once again be shown in the display .
EN 21 OPERA TING THE OVEN ▷ Y ou can press and hold the ‘+’ or ‘−’ button to set the desir ed time quicker . ▷ When the ‘end time’ button is released, the countdown of the programmed time will start and the curr ent time will once again be shown in the display .
EN 22 OPERA TING THE OVEN Setting the audible signal If you have not set an oven function, you can change the audible signal using the ‘−’ button. There ar e three differ ent types. 1. Pr ess the ‘−’ button twice. Y ou will hear an audible signal.
EN 23 OPERA TING THE GAS HOB Igniting and adjusting A symbol next to the control knob indicates which burner is being operated. Each burner is infinitely variable between high and low . Spark ignition Push in the control knob and turn it to the left. The burner ignites.
EN 24 COMFORT ABLE COOKING Optimal use of the hob Always ensure that the flames r emain below the pan. If flames play around the edges of the pan, a lot of ener gy is lost. In addition, the handles can get too hot. Do not use pans with a base diameter of less than 12 cm.
EN 25 Please note Disconnect the appliance from the power supply befor e beginning repairs. Pr eferably unplug the appliance, switch off the fuses, or set the switch in the meter cupboard to zer o. T urn off the gas tap on the supply line. Do not use steam cleaners or high-pressur e steam cleaner to clean the device.
EN 26 Enamelled parts The inside of the oven door , the entire oven interior , and the baking tray and griddle are entir ely enamelled. They can best be cleaned with warm soapy water .
EN 27 • When purchasing and using cleaning agents, be sur e to take account of the environment and heed the instructions of their manufacturer . Please Note: never use abrasive cleaning agents or sharp metal scrapers to clean the glass of the oven door .
EN 28 MAINTENANCE Disassembly of the oven door In normal use, the oven door will not need to be removed. However , should you want to do this, please follow the instructions below . W arning! The oven door is very heavy and should be well supported. 1.
EN 29 MAINTENANCE Removing the runners Y ou can remove both runners to clean the oven easier . The runners are attached to the oven wall at three points (see figur e). 1. Click the runner out of the lock by pushing in the middle of the top of the runner .
EN 30 Cleaning the pan supports Do not clean the pan supports in the dishwasher . The enamel on the pan supports is suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher , but the connection with the rubber feet is not. Moreover , the pan supports might show some discolouration if washed in the dishwasher .
EN 31 Faults table When in doubt about the proper operation of your appliance, this does not automatically mean there is a defect. Make sur e to check the points mentioned below in the table first, or visit our website ‘www .pelgrim.nl’ for more information.
EN 32 F AUL TS Problem with the hob Possible cause Solution The burner won’t burn evenly . Burner parts not correctly installed. Assemble the burner parts using the centring ridges. Burner components dirty/ damp. Clean/dry the burner components. Make sure that the outflow holes are open.
EN 33 General This appliance should only be connected by a register ed installer! The gas connection and the electrical connection must comply with national and local regulations.
EN 34 Gas connection • W e recommend that the hob be connected by means of a fixed pipe. Connection using a specially designed safety hose is also permitted. • The pipe behind the oven must be made entirely out of metal. W arning! • A safety hose may not be bent and must not come into contact with moving parts of kitchen units.
EN 35 Assembling the upright edge 1. Place the upright edge A on the back of the plane, and align the holes. 2. Tighten the 4 scr ews B with a cross-head scr ewdriver . Installation • When placing the cooker next to a tall cupboard or another wall made of flammable material, keep at least 50 mm distance between the cooker and the walls.
EN 36 Levelling The height of the cooker can be adjusted with the adjusting feet. If you want to install the cooker on a platform, make sure that it is securely fastened. W arning! After installation of the device, check whether the burners work properly .
