6 ENG ENG Applications The K Series has been primarily designed for portable audio reinforce- ment. This includes a variety of uses in reinforcement for entertainers and presenters. The K8, K1 0 and K1 2 are all designed to per form well on their own in full-range audio.
6 ENG ENG 7 Installation Before placing, installing, rigging, or suspending any speaker product, inspect all hardware, suspension, cabinets, transducers, brackets and associated equipment for damage. Any missing, corroded, deformed, or non-load rated component could significantly reduce the strength of the installation or placement.
8 ENG ENG Integrated Suspension P oints (suspended inst allations) The K8, K1 0 and K1 2 enclosures each feature three load-rated M1 0 installation points. As shipped from the factor y, each pick point has a rubber plug installed to retain the sleek look of the enclosure.
8 ENG ENG 9 AC Mains Connect AC power to the I EC socket on the back of the amplifier by locating the I EC connector-end of the AC power cord and inser ting it fully into the IE C inlet on the power amplifier module. NOTE: T urn off the AC power switch before connecting AC power.
10 ENG ENG Input Connections K8, K1 0, K1 2 The K8, K1 0 and K1 2 are designed to accept M IC Level and Line Le vel inputs with several different connectors.
10 ENG ENG 11 *Stereo input received at the RC A input jacks will be summed to mono. Balanced Inputs: Connect to the plug as shown. Unbalanced Inputs: Connect to the plug as shown. If a 3 conductor (TR S) plug is used to connect an unbalanced source, Pin 3 and pin 1 must be connected with a jumper as shown.
12 ENG ENG Output Connections K8, K1 0, K1 2 Both Channel A and Channel B have discreet direct outputs on male XLR connectors. The signal on this output is ex actly equivalent to the signal from the corresponding input. The level of the output signal is not affected by the gain setting for that channel.
12 ENG ENG 13 DS P Features The K Series features advanced DSP (digital signal processing) circuitr y that per forms many functions. Some functions are set at the design/production level and are not user accessible. These functions include crossovers, time alignment, limiting and protection, thermal management and a number of proprietary features.
14 ENG ENG Subwoofer Polarity Polarity (sometimes improperly referred to as phase) refers to the voltage of an input signal and whether it is a positive or negative voltage at any given time.
14 ENG ENG 15 Remote Gain Attenuator A 3 pin “Euro” connector has been provided to adjust the volume of the K Series loudspeaker or put the system into standby . (Figure 1 3) By var ying the voltage on the pin between +5V (provided on pin) and ground ( pin), the volume can be linearly controlled.

6 FRE FRE Applications La série K a été principalement conçue pour le renforcement audio portable. Ceci inclut toute une variété d'applications de renforcement pour les gens du spectacle et les présentateurs. 10 FRE FRE Branchements d'entrée K8, K1 0, K1 2 Les modèles K8, K1 0 et K1 2 ont été conçus pour accepter des entrées M IC ou de niveau de ligne avec des connecteurs différents. Le panneau d'entrée comporte trois points de branchement d'entrée.

12 FRE FRE Branchements de sortie K8, K1 0, K1 2 Les canaux A et B ont des sorties directes discrètes sur les connecteurs XLR mâles. Le signal sur cette sor tie équivaut précisément au signal issu de l’entrée correspondante. Le niveau du signal de sortie n’est pas affecté par le réglage de gain correspondant à ce canal.

6 GER GER Anwendungen Die K-Serie wurde in erster Linie als tragbares Beschallungssystem konstruiert und eignet sich für vielfältige Beschallungsanwendungen im Unterhaltungs- und V eranstaltungsbereich. Als unabhängige Systeme liefern die K8-, K1 0- und K1 2- Geräte jeweils optimale Leistung im Fullrange-Bereich.
6 GER GER 7 Installation Inspizieren Sie vor dem Aufstellen, Installieren, Rigging oder Aufhängen von Lautsprecherprodukten alle Befestigungsteile, Aufhängungen, Gehäuse, Wandler, Halterungen und damit in V erbindung stehenden Vorrichtungen auf eventuelle Schäden.
8 GER GER Integrierte Aufhängepunkte (bei Aufhängung) Die Gehäuse der Modelle K8, K1 0 und K1 2 sind jeweils mit drei belastbaren M1 0-Montagepunkten ausgestattet. Jeder Montagepunkt wird werkseitig vor dem V ersand mit einem Gummistopfen versehen, um die bestechende Optik des Gehäuses zu wahren.
8 GER GER 9 Net zanschluss Schließen Sie den Netzstrom an der I EC-Buchse auf der Rückseite des Verstärkers an, indem Sie das IEC-Anschlussende des Netzk abels ganz in die IEC-Buchse am Endstufen-Modul einstecken. H INW EI S: Schalten Sie vor dem Anschließen des Netzstroms den Betriebsschalter aus.
10 GER GER Eingangsanschlüsse K8, K1 0, K1 2 Die K8-, K1 0- und K1 2-Systeme sind für MIC-Pegel- und Line-Pegeleingänge mit mehreren verschiedenen Steckverbindern vorgesehen.
