3 Button Description For Video Operation INDICA T OR LIGHT The Indicator Light flashes to show that the remote is working. ON•OFF The ON•OFF button operates the same as your original remote Note: Some RCA, GE and ProScan models r equire you to pr ess the device button to turn the device on and the ON•OFF button to turn the device off.
Programming For TV 1. Manually turn on the TV . Find the three digit code for your TV in the code list below . 2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button until the INDICA TOR LIGHT lights, then release the CODE SEARCH button. 3. Press and r elease the TV button (The INDICA T OR LIGHT will blink then remain lit).

12 Programming For A udio This remote contr ol will operate many features found in audio/video receivers and mini-systems. The r emote control is alr eady programmed to operate most RCA and ProScan brand A/V r eceivers. Other brands of receivers and mini-systems need to be set up under the A UDIO button prior to using the device.
Note: Not all functions work for all brands. See page 13 for the Audio code list to operate your brand of equipment. TURNING ON THE RECEIVER OR MINI-SYSTEM Point the remote contr ol at the receiver and pr ess the A UDIO button. The receiver should turn on.
