E NGLISH The R ES M ED H OSPITAL F ULL F ACE M ASK is intended for single patient use for adult pa tients (>30 kg) prescribed continuous positive airway pressure or bilevel th erapy in hospitals or clinics.
E NGLISH • The exhaust vent flow is lower at lower mask pressures (see Pressure/Flow Curve). If the mask pressure during expiration is too low, there may not be enough exhaust vent flow to completely flush the air delivery hose of exhaled air before th e star t of the next inspiration.
E NGLISH Note: Make sure the side straps pass below the pati ent’s ears. The side arms on the mask will bend back as you tighten the side stra ps. Do not over tighten the straps. 4 The fitted mask should look like this: 5 If the patient feels air leaks around the cushio n, reposition the mask on the patient’s face to achieve a better seal.
E NGLISH D AILY C LEA NING OF THE M ASK ( OR AS REQUIRED ) Disconnect the main air tubing from the swivel. The R ES M ED H OSPITAL F ULL F ACE M ASK m ay be cleaned and re-used on a single patient. This applies for a maximum of seven days, afte r which the mask should be discarded.

F RANÇAIS toujours renouvelé dans le masque et l’air expiré peut être réinhalé . Dans certaines circonstances, la réinhalation de l’air exp iré pendant une dur ée supérieure à quelques minutes peut entraîner la suffocation. Cet avertissement s'appliq ue à la plupart des appareils de PPC et d'ai de inspiratoire avec PE P.
F RANÇAIS 3 Serrez légèrement les sangles du harnais : a commencez par serrer les sangles latérales en les tirant vers l'arrière, le long du visage du patient. b puis ajustez la sangle supérieure. Remarque : veillez à ce que les sangles latérales passent sous les oreilles du patient.
