10 11 Powering the SVMX Installing the battery Befor e you can r ecor d with your Ster eo VideoMic X, you will need to install a st andard 9V battery (ANS1:1604A or IEC:6LR61), or c onnect the micr ophone via the Mini XLR connections with individual 48v phantom power supplied f or each channel.
12 13 Insert the battery with the negative terminal (-) on the bott om as shown in Diagram 2 . The corr ect battery orientation is also shown on the inside of the battery co ver . If the battery orientation is not corr ect you will be unable t o close the battery door .
14 15 Powering the SVMX The Ster eo VideoMic X will run continuously f or over 30 hours with a high quality alkaline or lithium battery . Battery perf ormance may vary depending on ambient temperatur e and battery shelf lif e, so it is wise to always c arry a spare battery .
16 17 Mounting the SVMX Befor e sliding the camera shoe into plac e, loosen the fas tening ring by turning anti-clockwise until it is l oose enough to fit easily into your camer a’ s shoe mount. Once the shoe is in place, gently tight en by turning the fast ening ring clockwise until the Ster eo VideoMic X is seated firmly in plac e.

20 21 General operation High-pass lter switch The high-pass filter (HPF) is a l ow frequency cut-off setting, which you can use t o reduce rumbl e and other low fr equency noise picked up by the micr ophone while r ecording.
22 23 Level control The Ster eo VideoMic X featur es three settings to c ontrol the signal output le vel to your r ecording de vice. These are set via the l owest select or button on the back of the microphone.
24 25 The Ster eo VideoMic X has been designed to work best with the camera’ s auto-gain contr ol (AGC) switched off . 42 43 Speisung des SVMX Einlegen der Batterie Das Ster eo VideoMic X erfor dert eine Stromspeisung. Legen Sie vor dem Einsatz eine herk ömmliche 9V-Batterie (ANS1:1604A oder IEC:6LR61) ein oder verbinden Sie die beiden Mini XLR-Buchsen mit den entspr echenden Kamera-Eingängen, um deren 48V-Phan- tomspeisung zu nutzen.

74 75 Alimentation du SVMX Installation de la pile Le Ster eo VideoMic X doit être alimenté: avant de l ’utiliser, insérez une pile s tandard 9V (ANS1:1604A ou IEC:6LR61) ou branchez l es deux prises mini-XLR aux entr ées correspondant es de la caméra pour bénéficier d’une alimentation fantôme de 48V pour chaque canal.

11 0 111 Activar el SVMX Utilizando una pila alc alina o de litio de buena calidad, el Ster eo VideoMic X puede funcionar sin interrupciones durante más de 30 horas. El r endimiento de la pila puede variar dependiendo de la temperatura ambient e y la vida útil de la misma, por lo que es aconsejabl e llevar siempr e una pila de r epuesto.
