9 2. Inbetriebnahme 2.1 Vorbereitung • Nehmen Sie dasGerät und alle zugehörigenTeile vorsichtig aus derVerpackung. ☛ DasGerät kann für einen allfälligen Service in der Originalverpackung beden - kenlos per Post spediert werden.
10 Sprache einstellen: • Drehen Sie denSteuerknopf (2) bis diegewünschte Sprache erscheint. • Drücken Sie denSteuerknopf um die Eingabezu bestätigen.
11 System rechtzeitig anzeigen kann, wann die Entkalkung nötig ist, müssen Sie vor der ersten Benützung die korrekte Wasserhärte eingeben.
12 2.5 Mahlgrad einstellen Achtung : Der Mahlgrad darf nur bei laufendem Mahlwerk verstellt werden. JenachRöstungIhrerKaffeebohnen,könnenSiedasMahlwerkentsprechendanpas - sen. Wir empfehlen Ihnen aber, das Mahlwerk immer auf der mittleren Einstellung zu belassen.
13 3.1 Display und Bedienelemente Das Hauptmenü im Display besteht aus vier Zeilen. Das aktuelle Symbol wird mit einem weissen Hintergrund markiert. Die einzelnen Zeilen zeigen von links nach rechts .
14 ☛ Sie könnendirekt zwei Tassen zubereiten auch wenn die Anzahl Tassen auf 1 gestellt ist. Drücken Sie den Steuerknopf (2) zweimal kurz nacheinander und stellen Sie zwei Tassen nebeneinander unter den Auslauf (5).
15 3.3 Bezug von Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato Mit dem speziellen Aufschäumer wird die Milch automatisch aus dem Milch-Cooler bezogen und in die Tasse gefüllt. • Füllen Sie die Milch in den Milch-Cooler, drehen Sie den Deckel zu und schliessen Sie den Ansaugschlauch an (Abb.

21 ☛ Für Warme Milch kann die Gesamtmenge (Milch) von 40 ml bis 240 ml einge - stellt werden. ☛ Für die Zubereitungsarten Cappuccino und Latte Macchiato kann die Gesamtmenge (Wasserund Milch) von60 mlbis 360 ml eingestellt werden.
22 ☛ Sobald Sie die «Menge Milch» verändern wird automatisch die «Menge Schaum» angepasst. ☛ Die Gesamtmengevon «MengeMilch»und «MengeSchaum»bleibt immerim selben Verhältnis zu der Prozenteinstellung von «Anteil Kaffee».
23 • Drücken Sie denSteuerknopf zur Bestätigung. • Drehen Sie denSteuerknopf auf «Filter» unddrücken Sie ihn zurBestätigung. • Drehen Sie denSteuerknopf auf «Filter einsetzen?Ja».
24 Testen Sie Ihr Wasser zuerst mit dem beigelegten Teststreifen: • Tauchen Sie denStreifen kurz ins Wasserund schütteln Sie ihnleicht ab. • Nach ca.einer Minutekönnen Siedas Resultatablesenindem Siedie rotenPunkte zählen.
25 4.4 Zeiten Es sind folgende Zeitbezogene Einstellungen programmierbar: Uhr – Einschaltzeit – Ausschaltzeit – Einschaltung Tassenheizung – Zeitformat Achtung :DieFunktionen «Einschaltzeit»,«Ausschaltzeit»und «Tassenheizung»können nur programmiert werden, wenn die Uhrzeit aktiviert wird (siehe Kapitel 4.

28 4.6 Ausschaltspülung Die Einschalt-Spülung ist werkseitig vorprogrammiert und fest installiert. Nach jedem Einschalten aus dem Ruhezustand heizt der Apparat auf und verlangt eine Spülung damit die Leitungen sauber bleiben und nur mit frischem Wasser Kaffee gebrüht wird.

33 • Schliessen Sie denSchlauch an den Auslaufund an das Tropfblechan (Abb. B). • Das Display zeigt:«Spülvorgang starten». • DrückenSie denSteuerknopf(2)zur Bestätigung.
34 ☛ Achten Sie bei der Reinigung der Tropfschale (6b) darauf, dass die zwei Kontakte (6d) am hinteren Ende der Schale immer sauber sind. • DerWassertanksolltetäglichgespültundmitfrischem,kühlemWasserwiederneu gefüllt werden.
35 6. System Meldungen Meldung Bedeutung Abhilfe «System füllen» – Wasserleitungssystem füllen – evtl. Filter fehlerhaft – Steuerknopf drücken – Filter entfernen oder aus - tauschen «Wasser auffüllen» – Wassertank ist leer – Wassertank fehlt oder nicht richtig eingesetzt.
36 7. Probleme selber beheben Störung Bedeutung Abhilfe – Kein Heisswasser- oder Dampf-Bezug möglich. – Aufschäumer (Abb. D) ist verstopft – Aufschäumer komplett zerlegen und gründlich reinigen (siehe Kapitel 5.7) – Zu wenig Milchschaum oder flüssiger Schaum.
37 8. Weitere Hinweise Entsorgung Für eine sachgerechte Entsorgung ist die Kaffeemaschine dem Fachhändler, der Servicestelleoder der Firma RotelAG zurück zugeben.

Safety instructions • This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications, such as: staff kitchen areas, in shops, offices and other working environments; in farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential environments; in bed and breakfast environments.
40 2. Operational start up 2.1 Preparing the coffee machine • Carefully remove theappliance and all theaccessory parts from thepackaging. ☛ Please note: If a service is necessary, you can return the appliance by mail in its original packaging without any problems.
41 Setting the language: • Turn the Controlbutton (2) until thedesired language appears. • Press the Controlbutton to confirm theentry.
42 Youshould first test thewater with the enclosedtest strips: • Briefly dip thestrips into the waterand shake off excesswater. • You can readoff the result afterapprox.
43 2.5 Setting the fineness of the coffee mill Please note : The fineness setting may only be adjusted when the coffee mill is in operation. You can adjust the grinder to suit the roast of your coffee beans.

53 4. Programming Youcan re-program the followingsettings: Filter – Water hardness – Temperature – Times – Language – Rinsing at switch-off – ECO mode ☛ In the «First Operational start», you already had the opportunity to program the Language, the Filter-Settings and the Water hardness.

55 4.3 Temperature You can set the coffee temperature to «Normal», «High», «Maximum» or «Individual», as you wish. The temperature that you program here will then apply for all coffee specialities. In order to be able to individually determine the temperature for each cof - fee speciality (see Chapter 3.

62 5.5 Descaling the system If the appliance needs to be descaled, the «Please descale» message will appear on the display. ☛ You can continue to brew coffee or draw hot water and steam. We would, however, recommend that you run the descaling program as soon as possible.
63 5.6 Changing the filter The effectivenessof thefilter willbe exhaustedafter drawing approx. 50litres ofwater. «Filter replace» appears on the display. ☛ Youcan stilldraw coffee,hot water and steam.
64 • Cleanall the parts thoroughly,reassemble everything and push thefrother upwards back into the outlet. • Replace the coverplate on the outletagain. Cleaning the brewing unit When required, the brewing unit can be taken out and can then be cleaned under runningwater.
