7 — English ASSEMBL Y UNP ACKING This product r equir es assembly . Car efully remove the pr oduct and any accessories fr om the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. WARNING: Do not use this product if any parts on the packing list are already assembled to your pr oduct when you unpack it.
8 — English The secondary hole in the attachment shaft can be used for hanging purposes as well. A TT ACHING THE FRONT HANDLE See Figure 5. Remove wing nut, washer , and bolt from the front handle. Install the front handle onto the top side of the drive shaft housing in the area indicated by the label.
9 — English OPERA TION WARNING: Always shut off engine befor e fueling. Never add fuel to a machine with a running or hot engine. Move at least 30 ft. from r efueling site befor e starting engine. Do not smoke and stay away from open flames and sparks.
10 — English OPERA TION TO ADV ANCE THE CUTTING LINE (REEL EASY STRING HEAD) Line advance is controlled by tapping the string head on grass while running engine at full throttle. Run engine at full throttle. T ap the knob on gr ound to advance line.
11 — English MAINTENANCE Insert the new spool into the string head. NOTE: Make sure the arr ows on the spool are aligned with the eyelets in the string head housing. Push down and hold the spool and housing together while complet- ing the installation.
12 — English MAINTENANCE Insert the lines into the eyelets located on the sides of the string head. Line should be pushed in until approximately 1 in. protrudes fr om the holes on the top of the string head. Remove old line by pulling it from the holes located on the top of the string head.
13 — English MAINTENANCE ADJUSTING CAMSHAFT -TO-ROCKER ARM CLEARANCE See Figures 27 - 30. Inspect the camshaft-to-rocker arm clearance after every 25 hours of operation. This should be done in a clean, dust- free envir onment. NOTE: This procedur e r equires partial disassembly of the engine.

10 — Français UTILISA TION A V ANCE DE LA LIGNE DE COUPE (TÊTE À LIGNE DE COUPE DE REEL EASY) L ’avance de la ligne est obtenue en tapant la tête de coupe sur le gazon, le moteur tournant à plein régime. Faire tourner le moteur à plein régime.
11 — Français A VERTISSEMENT : Utiliser exclusivement des pièces d’origine pour les réparations. L ’usage de toute autre pièce pourrait créer une situation dangereuse ou endommager l’outil. A VERTISSEMENT : T oujours porter des lunettes de sécurité munies d’écrans latéraux lors de l’utilisation d’outils.
12 — Français ENTRETIEN Arrêter le moteur et débrancher le fil de la bougie. Prendre deux bout s de fil pour coupe-bordur e coupés préalablement (fournis) ou couper deux bouts de fil d’une longueur de 279,4 mm (11 po). Insérer les fils dans les fentes situées de chaque côté de la tête de coupe.
