Safety Pr ecautions Before cooking food or liquids in your microwave oven, please check that the following safety precautions are taken. DO NOT use any metallic cookware in the microwave oven: ◆ Metallic containers ◆ Dinnerware with gold or silver trimmings ◆ Skewers, forks, etc.

Using a Crusty Plate Normally when cooking food, such as pizzas or pies, on a grill or in a microwave oven, the dough or pastry becomes soggy. This can be avoided by using a crusty plate; as a high temperature is reached quickly, the crust turns crisp and brown.
