P ar k ve hicle safely . 2. Remov e chains from bag and lay out flat with the cross chain hook ends f acing upward.

Ser vice Engine - P age 38 SERVICE ENGINE A v oid Fumes Engine Oil NO TE: Air cooled engines run hotter than automobile engines. The use of mu lti-viscosity oil such as (10W -30) in ambient temperatures above 4 ° C (40° F) will result in higher than normal oil consumption.

Remov e three cap screws and belt shields (A). 4. Put drive belt tension rod (B) in the released position as shown and disconnect idler spring (C).

Turn OFF and unplug the charger before you con- nect cables to the battery or disconnect cables from the battery.
