7 Section 1 Setting u p the SignWare- Pro Se rver Softwa re 1. Getting Started This quick setup guide will in struct you on ho w to inst all and s etup the SignWare - Pro soft ware onto your Serve r (Hos t PC) and ho w to se tup the Si gnWare - Pro client.
8 2. Inst alling SignWare - Pro Serve r SignWare - Pro Se rver requ ires a unique seria l number to be ins talled. You wil l find your ke y on bac k of the SignWare - Pro Se rver CD s leeve. In additi on, you must co mple te the online regis tratio n for your co py of Si gnWare - Pro Serve r.

16 After yo u log into the SignWa re - Pro ma nager, you c an cre ate new us ers by clic king ‘R un,’ then clicking on ‘User Manager ’ ( Fig ure 6 .2 .3 ) To creat e a new u ser, r ight click or click on ‘Use r’ then ‘N ew User.’ The us er pro pertie s wi ndow w ill open.
17 7. Task Manager The m ain fea ture of S ignWare - P ro is the T ask Manage r. This is w here yo u set up and ma nage al l of your pres entat ions . To ope n the Tas k Mana ger: • Sel ect Run then cl ick on t he Ta sk Mana ger. ( Figure 7 .1 ) Figure 7 .
18 Setting up Tasks: In the T ask menu opti on, yo u can create , dele te, and vie w the prope rties of al l the files you w ish to run on S ignWare - P ro . Fig ure 7 .2 To create a new task: 1. Select Tas k and s elect ‘Ne w Task’. ( Fig ure 7 .

From here you cre ate the progra mmi ng sche dule. Yo u can se lect a va riety o f task to run at s pecif ic times , run onc e, or loo p continuous ly.
20 8 . Crea ting a nd w ork ing wit h sche dul es 1. In the T ask Mana ger sel ect ‘Sc hedule ’ and cl ick ‘New Sc hedule ’. The Sc hedule Prope rties Dialog will appear. ( Fig ure 8 .1 ) 2. In the ‘G enera l’ tab gi ve your sc hedule a name.

22 5. Day and Tim e: Use the ‘ Day and Tim e’ ta b to control when a nd for how long the s che dule will play. The Day and Time d ialog controls the following ; a. Sched ule st art type: This fe ature s elects ho w the schedu le wi ll ope rate. ( Fig ur e 8.

The information that you get Smart-AVI SignWare-Pro will certainly help you make a decision on the purchase.
If you already are a holder of Smart-AVI SignWare-Pro, but have not read the manual yet, you should do it for the reasons described above.
