The stereo's detachable flat-face control panel lets you quickly remove it to protect against theft.

Hold down DISP for about 2 seconds. The digits on the display flash. 3. Within 5 seconds, press 2 RPT until the desired display - FRE (Frequency) or CLK (Clock) - appears.
