For e xample, do not le ave your handheld o n the dashboard of a car on a hot day or on a day when tem peratures are below the freezing point. Also, keep it aw ay from heate rs and other sou rces of heat.

NOTE: When you perfo rm a hard reset, formats, preferences, and other setti ngs including date and time are restored to their factory default settings.

2 Entering data in your Acer n10 Using the input panel 17 2 Entering data in your Acer n10 Y ou can enter data into your handh eld in several w ays: • Use the input panel to enter typed text, either by using the soft keyboard or other input me thod.

2 Entering data in your Acer n10 Drawing on the s creen 22 . Tips for getting good recognition • Write neatly. • Write on the lin es. Write the cross of the "t" and apostrop hes below the top line so th at they are no t confused with the word abov e.

Drawings that do not cross three rule d lines will b e treated as writing. TIP: You may want to change the zoom level so that you can more easily work on or view your drawing.

With the Advanced mode, you can set to perform an autom atic data backup when the system is running on x battery power; x being the set battery capacity defined in th e Advanced window .
