6 A C MAINS OPERA TION CONNECTING POWER Check that the mains v oltage marked on the ra ting plate • on the back panel is the same as the v oltage in y our area. Plug the AC pow er cord into the A C inlet • Plug the mains plug into the wall socket and switch the • mains power on.
7 FM RECEPTION ST A TION PRESETS DAB and F M presets Y our radio can store up to 10 of y our fav ourite sta tions as presets on both the D AB and FM bands for quick recall . T o store a preset T une to the station you wan t to stor e as a preset. • Press and • hold the PRESETS button.
8 Set the radio to Standby befor e going to sleep . • NOTE:- The above examples show DAB preset 3, FM preset 1 and Buzzer tone 1 as pr eferred wak e-up settings. The three symbols are shown below , indicating which alarm is set. Y our radio includes a dual alarm function.
9 SCANNING When rst used, your radio scanned the DAB band for available stations. The station ser vices found were then stored in y our radio ’ s memory. Y ou can r e-scan the band at any time if you move to a dierent area or just to r efresh the stor ed list of available sta tions.
10 DAB DISPLA Y MODES When playing a DAB station you can change the information on the display by changing the display mode . T o change the display mode from the default of Scrolling station text informa tion: Press the • INFO button repeat edly to cycle through the options listed in the chart below .
11 AFTER USING YOUR RADIO Set to Standby . • Switch the unit o at the mains and unplug it if you are • leaving it unattended f or a long period (holidays etc). CARE AND CLEANING All care and cleaning operations should be carried out with the unit unplugged from the mains pow er .
