1 1 Netw ork Connection These series network c amera produ cts sup port the Web ac cess and manage ment v ia PC. Web include s several modules: mon itor channe l preview, PTZ control, sy stem co nfiguratio n, alarm a nd etc. Please fo llow the steps listed bel ow for networ k connectio n.
2 2 Main Interface I ntroduction 2.1 Log in Open IE an d input netw ork ca mera address in the address bar. For exampl e, if your ca mera IP is 192.1 68.1.10 8, then please input ht tp:// 192.168.1.108 in IE ad dress bar. See Fig ure 2-1. Figure 2-1 The login i nterface is shown as bel ow.

18 5 Setup 5.1 Camera 5.1.1 Conditions Here you ca n view dev ice propert y infor mation. Sligh t differences may be foun d due to dif ferent netw ork camera ser ies. The setu ps beco me valid i mmediately after you set. See Figure 5-1. Figure 5-1 Please refer to the fol lowing sheet for detailed information.
19 Contrast It is to adjust monitor window contr ast. The larger the nu mber, the higher t he contrast is. You can use this funct ion w hen the whole video bright is OK but the contrast is not proper. Please note the v ideo may bec ome haz y if the v alue is too low.
20 Low noise The video w hole brightnes s can auto matically change with in the prop er exposure r ange according t o the different env ironments. The higher the ga in max v alue is, t he lower the noise is. For the sa me environ ments, the noise of the low noise mode shal l be smaller than the noise of t he auto mod e.
21 Day&Night It is to set device color a nd the B/ W mod e switch. When config file is general, the default is auto. W hen config file is day, the default is co lor. When config file is ni ght, the de fault is blac k & white. Color: Devic e outputs t he color v ideo.
22 Cancel It is to cancel the operati on in curre nt interface a nd r estore previously saved operat ion. Default It is to set device defau lt setup. The profile manageme nt interfac e is shown as in Figure 5-2. Figure 5-2 Profile man agement has t hree modes: general , full t ime and sch edule.

24 Parameter Function Resolution There are m ultiple reso lutions. You can select from the dropdown list . For each reso lution, t he reco mmended bit stream v alue is different. Important You can not set a reso lution higher than 720 P (not including 720P) when t he flip function is in pr ocess.
