Welcome Thank you for choosing the V ulcan® Excursion XB™. This portable device is designed to take advantage of micro-mobility and dir ect interaction through touch input and wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth) to provide distinct and differ ent experiences for both study and entertainment.
Safety Notice 1. Do not store the device in extr eme hot, cold, dusty , dry , or humid environment. 2. Handle the device with care. The device can be damaged if dr opped, burned, punctured, or crushed, or if it comes in contact with liquid. Do not put heavy objects on laptop which can damage it.

Docking Keyboard Using Docking Keyboard 1. On a flat surface, open the cover with the docking pin connector facing upward. 2. Connect the tablet, gently align the tablet with the two notches and pin with the docking connector . Y ou should hear a snap or click when connected.
T urn the T ablet On T o turn the T ablet On. Press and hold the Power button on the top left side of the tablet. T o turn the T ablet Off. 1.Swipe in from the right edge of your scr een or the keyboard shortcut + C to open the charms. 2.Go to Settings > Power > Shut Down to turn off the tablet.

Account Setup New account setup and sign in A Microsoft account is the email addr ess and password that you use to sign in to services like Outlook.com, SkyDrive, Windows Phone, and Xbox. V ulcan Excursion XB has built-in Wi-Fi that you can use to connect to a wireless network. If you don’ t know your wireless network passwor d, use the info below to find it.
Use apps and programs Find and open apps Like the Start button in previous versions of Windows, the Start screen is wher e you go to start apps. V ulcan T raveler can run two types of apps: Windows Store apps—such as Music, Mail, and Weather . Desktop apps—such as Notepad and Office .
Gestures To go to Start: Touch. Press the Windows button on the touchscreen, or swipe in from the right edge of the screen and tap Start . Keyboard. Press the Windows logo key on your keyboard. Mouse. Click the Start button in the lower- left corner of the screen.
