10 Windo w preparation If storm window frame interferes with air conditioner , attach a 2" (5 cm) -wide wood strip to inner window sill, across full width of sill.
11 Installation 4. Open window and mark centerline of inner sill. 5. Attach one L brack et 8 inches (20.3 cm) from either side of centerline, flush against back of inner window sill, with short side of bracket in v er tical position. Brackets will help hold air conditioner in place.
