4 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Unpacki ng Remove Pac kaging Materials ■ Remove tape and glue residue fr om surfaces before turning on the freezer . Rub a small amount of liquid dish soap over the adhesive w ith your f ingers. Wi pe with warm wate r and dry .
5 Ele ct rica l Requ ire men ts Before you move your freezer into its fin al location, it is impor tant to make sure you have the proper electrical connection. Recommended gr ounding method A 115 V olt, 60 Hz. , AC only , 15- or 20-amp fused, grou nded electrical supply is required.
6 Conn ect the W ater Supply (on so me models) Connect to Water Line 1. Unplug freezer or disconnect po wer . 2. T ur n OFF main water supply . T urn ON near est faucet long enough to clear line of water . 3. Locate a ½" to 1 ¹⁄₄ " (12.
7 Remove Do or and Hinges ⁵⁄₁₆ " Hex Head Hinge Scr ew 1. Unplug freezer or disconnect po wer . 2. Open freez er door and remove base grille from the bottom fro n t of the freezer . See Base Grille Graphic 1A. 3. Close the freezer door and keep it closed u ntil you ar e ready to lift it free from the cabinet.

9 Adjust the D oor 1. Locate the two front leveling legs taped amon g the packing materia ls. 2. Screw these legs into t he front holes on the bo ttom of the free zer . The back of the fr eezer r ests on two fixed supports. 3. Adjust the front legs enough to lift the cabinet up off of the floor .
10 T e mper ature Alarm (on some models) The temperatur e monitor alarm is located to the left of th e temperatur e control and sounds a n audible alarm if th e temperatur e reac hes 10°F (-12°C) or more above norm al for the selected setting. The alarm i s contr olled by a three-position sw itch.
11 When placing the food packages in your freezer , please rem em b er : ■ The cabinet shelves have th e best freezing capability . The door shelves and the bottom of the cabinet have a slightly l ess cold temperature . Ther efore, packages sensitive to temperatur e (meat, poultry , etc.
12 Base Grille T o Remove and Replace the Base Grille: 1. Open the freezer door and r emo ve the base g rille by pulling down and out from the top. 2. Replace the base grille by putting the clips in the openings in the refrigerator panel. Push in until the base gril le snaps into place.

14 Ther e is water in the defr ost drain pan (on some models) ■ Is the free zer d efrosti ng? The water will evaporate. It is normal fo r water to dr ip into t he defrost pan. ■ Is it more humid than normal? When i t is humid , ex pe ct th at the water in the def rost pan will take longer to evapo r ate.

Rearrange containers so that they fit more tightly and take up less space. ■ Are th e shelves and bask et out of position (on some model s)?
