2 REFRIGERATOR S AFETY Proper Disposal of Y our Old Refrigerator IMPOR T ANT : Child entrapment and suff ocation are not pr oblems of the past. Junked or abandoned r efrigerators are still danger ous – even if th ey will sit for “just a few days.
3 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Unpack th e Refrigerator Remove packaging materials. Do not use sharp i nstruments, rubbing alcohol, flammable fluids, or abrasive cleaners to remove tape or gl ue. Thes e prod uct s can dama ge the su rf ace of your refr igerator .
4 W ate r Supp ly Re quir ement s Read all dir ections carefully before you begin. IMPOR T ANT : ■ If you turn the refrigerator on before the water line is connected, turn the ice maker OFF . ■ All installations must meet local plumbing code requirements.
5 Style 2 1. Unplug refrigerator or discon nect power . 2. Remove the shipp ing tape from the gray , coiled water tubing on the r ear of the r efrigerator . 3. Thread the provided nut onto the w ater valve as shown. NOTE: Tighten the nut by hand. Then ti ghten it with a wren ch two more tur ns.
6 Cr is per Hum idi t y C ont rol (on so me model s) Y ou can control the amount of hum idity in the moistu re-sealed crisper . Adjust the control to any setting between LOW and HIGH. LOW (open) for best sto rage of fruits and veg etables with ski ns.
7 The Ice D ispenser The dispensing syst em will not operate wh en the freezer door is open. Ice dispenses from the ice maker storage bin in the freez er when the dispenser lever is pressed.
8 T o Clean Y our Refrigerator : NOTE: Do not use abr asiv e or harsh cleaners such as window sprays, scouring cleansers, flammable fluids, cleaning waxes, concentrated deter gents, bleaches or cleansers containing petroleum pr oducts on plastic par ts, interior and door liner s or gaskets.

16 Req u is ito s de loc al iz a ci ón Para asegurar la adecuada ventilaci ó n para su r efrigerador , deje un espacio de ½ " (1 ,25 cm) a cada lado y por encima. Si Ud. instala el refr igerador pr ó ximo a una pared fija, deje como m í nimo 2" (5,08 cm) a cada lado (dependiendo del modelo) para permitir que la puerta abra bien.
17 Presi ó n del agua Se necesita un suministro de agua fr í a con presi ó n de agua entre 30 y 120 lbs/pulg ² (207 a 827 kPa) p ara hacer funcionar el despachador de agua y la f á brica de hielo. Si usted tiene preg untas acerca de la presi ó n de agua, llame a un plomero competente autorizado.
18 NOT A: Apriete la tuerca a man o. Luego apri é tela dos vueltas con una llave de tuercas. No apr iete demasiado. 4. ABRA la v á lvula de cierre. 5. Revise si hay fugas. Apriete aquellas tuercas o conexi ones que tengan fu gas (incluidas las conexiones e n la v á lvula).
19 Cont rol de hume dad del cajón para verd uras (en al guno s modelo s) Usted puede contr olar el nivel de humedad en el caj ó n herm é tico para verdu ras. 21 CUIDADO DE SU RE F RIGERADOR Limpie za T anto la secci ó n del refrigerador como la del cong elador se descongelan autom á ticamente. No o bstante, limpie ambas secciones m á s o menos una vez al mes para evitar la ac umulac i ó n de olor es. Limpie los derrames de inmediato.
