6 7 GETTIN G STA RTED 1. Remov e unit and AC adapter from the box and pr operly dispose of any protec tive packaging material. 2. Open battery compa rtment cover o n the bottom o f the unit by sliding it ba ck and lifting up the edge w ithout the finge r slot.
8 9 5. Press (+) to incre ase the volume or (- - ) to decre ase the volume. (5-20, defau lt 10) Press 1 /2 once aga in to confirm and exit alar m setting mode . The alarm ic on will light up in the displ ay. 6. T o cancel t he alarm conti nue to press 1 /2 until the alarm icon dis appears.
