2 P ar ts included: THE SPRINGS : The two springs included with this kit will replace two of the stock springs that ar e in the trans- mission valv e body . T RI M VA L V E A W/ RI B: This trim valve will replac e the stock va vle. T rim V alve A is unique, notice that it has a little rib in the cent er .
3 REmOvINg ThE TRANmISSION vAL vE BOD y Impor tant: When dismantling the valve body be careful to store all of the par ts in a safe place to preven t them from being lost . It is also very impor tant to k eep all the par ts clean. 1. Remov e the tranmission pan plug and drain all the transmission oil fr om the pan.
4 6. Remov e the plate tha t secures the solenoids shown in picture #3. 7. Remove all the remaining bolts that hold the valv e body together and dismantle it. When separating the valv e body pull evenly on each side being carefull not to break the attaching dowles .
5 Changing V alves vAL vE BODy mODIFICA TIONS Ther e are two major modic ations , the rst is to swap out the trim valv es and place springs in front of the trim valv es befor e replacing them.
6 Changing V avles V AL VE BODY ASSEMBL Y : When bolting the valv e body back up to the transmission, torque all the bolts to 8 ft/lbs. 6.See the S epara tor Plate D rilling diagram to see where to drill out the t w o holes, then use the 1/8th drill bit that is included with the kit to drill out those two holes .
