Setup 1. Connect the DC plug of the pow er supply unit to the rear of the VP AP device. 2. Connect the pow er cord to the pow er supply unit. 3. Plug the other end of the pow er cord into the pow er outlet. 4. Connect one end of the air tubing firmly onto the air outlet.

S9 Essentials S9 Essentials is designed to make de vice interaction and menu navigation easier f or you. If enabled b y the clinician, S9 Essentials disables the Info and Set up functionality so that you can simply start and stop therapy and adjust ramp, humidification and Climate Control.
Getting star t ed 1. Make sure the po wer is connected. 2. Adjust the ramp time if required. 3. Fit your mask as described in y our mask user guide. 4. T o st art therapy , simply breathe into the mask and/or press . 5. Lie down and arrange the air t ubing so that it is free to mo ve if y ou turn in y our sleep.
Viewing the tr eatment scr eens Depending on how the sy stem has been configured, you will see one of the f ollowing e xample screens (shown in the S T mode) once therapy has started: 9 H5i humidifier.

SD card An SD card has been supplied to gather therapy data from your VP AP device and provide set tings updates from y our clinician. When instructed to do so, disconnect the VP AP de vice from the pow er outlet, remov e your SD card, insert it in the protective f older and send it to your clinician.
